BE CAREFUL. HE IS NOT A SAFE DENTIST. I have been wanting to leave this review for a long time but I haven't. I came here with my kids and husband to see Dr. Sato a few years ago. He extracted teeth unnecessarily that he didn't have to and ruined my child's mouth!! He also did a procedure on my husband and it turned out badly some time later. We had to go to another dentist in Irvine to fix the problem. Dr. Sato also has bad attitude. I was not happy and I wish I had never gone to his dental office.

Dr. Sato has been my family's dentist over 15 yrs. Good dentist must have skillful hands, and Dr. Sato's dexterity is amazing. All of his staff are very courteous, and Naoko is super nice to explain your insurance questions, which we all know it gets complicated. The clinic is always clean and fresh with up-to-date equipments. All possible measures have been taken for Covid to protect both patients and the staff. I can send my entire family to Dr. Sato with confidence.

I have been going to Sato Family Dental for over 10 years and I could not be happier with my straight teeth. The doctor and all the staff members are kind and professional making going to the dentist easy. Whether it's regular dental care or orthodontic care that you need you can go to Sato Family Dental because they do both fantastically.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sato's for almost seven years. I have had extensive dental work done and have seen many dentists in my 67 years. I think Dr. Sato the best of the best. He is a graduate of Columbia University Dental School in New York City. He is excellent at diagnosing and treating all my issues, totally pain free. Today, he and his office staff stayed late to see me for a chipped front tooth from last night. I have had my front teeth treated before and the shot to numb the area has been excruciating painful. I was so scared! Dr. Sato told me he had a way of making this not so bad. I trusted him and he was right! He did a two step numbing process that was totally pain free! I couldn't believe it! I was so happy and relieved! I am now reassured that should I need future work to my front teeth, I don't need to worry! Also, Dr. Sato is sensitive to my financial situation and only does what is necessary. He is is doing everything in his power to save my teeth and educating me on how to best prevent further loss. He is extremely kind and easy to talk with. I only speak English. His office manager, Naoko, is warm, lovely, and extremely competent! All the hygienists are delightful and professional. Our son is a physician and my standards are exceedingly high for any type of medical care. I cannot say enough good things about all my many years (and visits) at Sato Family Dental!

I came in seeking to get new retainers because my old ones were causing me pain. Dr. Sato was very helpful and instead of advising me to spend hundreds on a new retainer set, he helped adjust my retainers. He is such an honest and genuine dentist that puts each patients' best interest first. 10/10 would recommend him!

I've been going to Sato family dental for over 3 years now. The service has always been outstanding and consistent. The place is clean and the staff is professional. Beside the excellent work, I love the fact that they are flexible with their appointments (as long as you call plenty ahead of time); and they always call and remind you a few days prior to the appointment. Overall the experience has been great and I will continue having them fixing my "smile". Very satisfied customer here.

Dr. Sato fixed my old fillings perfectly! The office staff is very professional and detail-oriented. The office hours are flexible, and minimal waiting time in the waiting room. Love the baby size toothbrush and toothpaste after each appointment since they are great for traveling. I attribute my great smile to their constant care over the years!

Everyone in the office is amazing, except for Sato who has terrible communication skills with his patients. How is that your staff gets customer service but you don't? Leaving the dentist office without a smile :(
