Born and raised in the Copper Country, Dr. Tyler Sarazin graduated from Houghton High School and Michigan Technological University. He attained his Masters Degree from Wayne State University before earning his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Tyler is excited to be back in the Houghton-Hancock area to continue the high standards of care set by his father, Dr. James Sarazin.
Dr. Jim Sarazin was born and raised in the Bootjack area, attending Lake Linden High School. He did his undergraduate studies at Michigan Tech and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He returned to the Upper Peninsula to establish his private dental practice with emphasis in family dentistry on Quincy Street in Hancock. Nearly 40 years later, Dr. Jim remains committed to providing high quality dental care to the people of the Copper Country.
We have an expansive referral network of other trusted dentists and specialists if we cannot provide the best treatment for a specific issue, we will refer you to the best provider without hesitation.

We had gotten some dental work done back in 2019, our insurance covers $1000. The Bill we had got was $150, we called the insurance and everything we though was good. Well 2 years later we get served for the $150, they couldn't even call about it or ask for the money, which I have no problem paying. You know business get pretty desperate when they take you to court for $150.

I had a filling pop out and have no insurance, called Sarazin and they scheduled me next day for the x ray and the following day for the filling. No extra BS fees or cleanings just honest rates and fast quality service. The other places around had no interest in trying to get me in, in a timely manner because I wasn't a patient and also were pushing cleanings I didn't need or want or could afford.

Dental emergency with severe pain and exposed nerves. Couldn't get an x-ray because of a physical problem in my mouth, so they turned me away. Screw these people.

The Sarazin Dental facility is THE BEST hands down!!!!!! I am sorry for others bad experiences, that happens any where, but the Sarazin Dental facility IS NOT A CROOKED BUSINESS!!! SHAME ON YOU!!

I've gone to Dr. James Sarazin for years. When I moved from the area, other dentists actually commented on the quality of his work. I've never lost a filling and I have a crown that he put in 34 years ago. He does excellent work. I highly recommend him.
