In 1993, Dr. Richard Dennis graduated from the University of Utah and in 1997 graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. In addition, Dr. Richard Dennis is one of a very small percentage of general dentists to have attained the status of 'Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This accomplishment requires over 500 hours of continuing education, at least five continuous years in good standing, and passing a rigorous 8 hour examination.
Dr. Dennis is now working toward accreditation in the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI), the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology (ASDA) and the Academy of Laser Dentistry
Awards America's Top Dentists - Consumers' Research Council of America, an independent research company based in Washington, DC that evaluates professional services throughout America, has selected Dr. Dennis for the inclusion in the 2007, 2009 and 2010 Consumer Guides.
The selection process is based on a point value system that awards points for education, affiliations with professional associations and board certifications. No fees, sponsorships, donations or advertising are accepted from dentist, dental treatment facilities or dental referral organizations to insure unbiased selection.
Family Dr. Richard Dennis was born in Great Falls, Montana, and grew up all over the United States because of his father's career in the Air Force. After High School, he spent 4 years serving in the United States Marine Corps. In his free time Dr. Dennis enjoys running, weight lifting, golf, tennis, involvement in local youth and church organizations and spending time with his wife and four children.

In addition to following the highest standards of preventive oral healthcare, our hygienists- Terri and Rachel have extensive education and training in non-surgical periodontics. Terri has been with the practice for over 13 years and she completed the first anesthesia course offered in NYS for hygienists.
Patty is the Practice Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to the doctor. She provides the highest level of customer service and has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dental administration. She makes sure that each day runs smoothly for the patients, doctor and staff, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone that visits our office.
We are all proud to be working with Dr. Dennis and are confident that you will find his skill and artistry in cosmetic dentistry second to none. We strive on a daily basis to deliver the same level of expertise from the whole dental team.
Terri has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1984 and has worked part time at Saratoga Smiles for the past 12 years. Her bubbly personality and positive attitude promote a lively atmosphere in the office and helps anxious patients feel more at ease. Her love for beautiful smiles and the positive affect they have on peoples lives is evident in her enthusiasm for the Zoom! whitening procedure she provides. She is proud to participate in Dr. Dennis Smile Makeovers and to play an integral part in helping patients maintain that smile with personalized instruction. She has a firm commitment to the highest standard of care for her patients and ongoing education and training to stay on the leading edge of her profession. When shes not spending time with her husband and 3 children you will likely find her rowing on Fish Creek.
Heather has been in the dental field for nineteen years, and with Saratoga Smiles since 2004. Patients comment on how relaxed and comfortable they feel when she is caring for them. As a licensed Dental Assistant, she enjoys helping patients achieve their dental goals and experience the difference it makes in their lives. She has a true passion for quality dentistry that is evident in her knowledge, confidence and professionalism. It is very rewarding to see patients confidence boosted by giving them a nice smile.
Jennifer is proud to be part of an exceptional group here at Saratoga Smiles. Her dedication to providing patients with the highest quality of care and comfort they need and deserve is always evident. Patients love her energetic personality and friendly smile. Jennifer has her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, but found her true passion in the dental field when she became a dental assistant in 2012. She has assisted general dentists and specialists, including an endodontist and periodontist. She is enthusiastic to be working in an environment that promotes continuous learning and innovation. Jennifer goes above and beyond for patients and takes pride in being an integral part of the team. In her free time she coaches gymnastics, enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking and kayaking, and loves to spend time with friends and family.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Dennis & his very professional medical & office staff. From my first call to the office to schedule initial appointments with exams and cleaning to the dental work I have just had done - I can't speak highly enough about the care I received. Dr. Dennis & his medical team members heard my concerns about fear of pain & treated me with compassion and respect. Patty, the most gracious medical office manager I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with, demonstrated outstanding customer service & communication skills....."beyond efficiency ". I have been going to Dr Dennis since he took over Saratoga Smiles, and I can only say good things about him and his staff. He does excellent work, and he stands by it and fixes any problems that arise. The staff are the perfect balance of personable and professional. Best dentist I have ever had.

As always a fantastic experience! From the immaculate waiting room with complimentary water and aromatherapy to the great teamwork that gets you in and out pain free I highly recommend Saratoga Smiles. The receptionist could not be more friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Dennis and his team clearly explained the procedure and relieved any worries, as always a great job!!!

I can't say enough good things about this practice! I'm probably the most apprehensive dental patient in the world! Such an amazing group of professionals would be impossible to find anywhere else! I drive 2 hours for my appointments without any regrets. They definitely go above and beyond to make their anxious patients feel welcome! You won't find a kinder practice!

I've only had wonderful experiences at this office! Dr Dennis is very kind and enjoyable to work with. All staff members are a pleasure to deal with as well. I moved south to the Albany area and still would rather drive 40 minutes for Saratoga Smiles. They're that good! I should note that I'm not the best with needles, but Dr Dennis is very patient/gentle during the process so I barely felt anything. Amazing!
