Dr. Mercado has been my dentist for many years, and he takes great pride in his work. He has enhanced my smile, and has always given me great advice and kept my teeth in top condition. But on top of that, he is a great human being. I had an emergency and my tooth broke on a Friday evening. I called him, and he was willing to fix it on a Saturday! He makes me feel important. Not only is he the best dentist ( his awards prove it) , but he is a great person. If you are looking for a Dentist, I highly recommend him.

Dr Marcan and his staff are amongst the most professional and caring I have ever met. My wife and I have been patients since we moved here in 2015. I strongly recommend this practice to anyone looking for superior dental care. Dr Marcano is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work.

Francisco Marcano, DDS, his staff and colleagues have done a fablous job! With a chipped front tooth and slightly crooked teeth for years, I finally decided to do something about it. So glad that I chose Dr. Marcano and his team for the job! Several dental professionals have commented on what nice work was done. Would highly recommend. :D

I have been under Dr. Marcano's care for three years. I had a dental "case" (aka - messed up mouth) that dentists felt unsure of attempting to correct. Dr. Marcano took me on and spent NUMEROUS hours being extremely meticulous, thorough, patient, kind, and most of all educating me in every aspect of care. I am SO thankful for him and his expertise. He not only fixed my teeth, but 'made me beautiful' at 78 years old! God bless this man.

Dr. Marcano is still requiring masks. You sit in your car and get called in one patient at a time. They check your temp at the door and walk you through an empty waiting room to the back. When I said I didn't want to wear a mask Dr.Marcano said he is requiring them because the CDC recommends it -which is NOT true! I copied and pasted protocol for Sarasota county straight from cdc.gov below : What Prevention Steps Should You Take Based on Your COVID-19 Community Level? In Sarasota County, Florida, community level is Low. Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines Get tested if you have symptoms People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask. It's a nice office with great staff but I will be going somewhere else in the meantime that lets you make the choice for yourself. I will miss Linda and Karen!!

Sarasota Center for General Dentistry restored my smile! The entire staff is professional, kind and caring. The immaculate office is conveniently located in Sarasota. My oral health was in jeopardy when I began treatment. Dr Marcano and his excellent assistant Michelle transformed my teeth and gave me my smile back. The office staff is accommodating and helpful dealing with insurance and scheduling.

Had my visit to Dr. Marcano office to day, what a Great experience! Took time to explain everything going on with my teeth. They even take pictures and show you what your teeth look like and what needs to be done. Have a tooth issue go, to Dr. Marcano. Definitely recommending to all my friends. Best dental practice I've ever been to. Friendly and comforting, they really take a genuine interest in their patients. I had several dentists work on one particular tooth, always very painful. Dr. Marcano is the only one who was able to fix it with NO pain at all!
