She treats every patient with respect and kindness while focusing on a conservative, often pain-free approach to treatment. Dr. DeSantis completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to complete a 2-year General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital where she served as Chief Resident during her 2nd year. At that time, she became determined to help patients with periodontal disease and tooth loss. She continued her post doctoral education at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine Advanced Education in Periodontics and Implants. She has been practicing in Islip, NY for the last 17 years prior to coming to Sayville, NY. She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as The American Academy of Periodontics and the Suffolk County Dental Society. She is married with 2 children and she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family when she is not treating patients.
