We are looking for a part-time dental hygienist for our dental practice. The ideal candidate is someone who loves people, is gentle and compassionate, enthusiastic about their job, detail-oriented and a good communicator. The position includes competitive pay, up to 17 days in paid vacation, 401K, HSA and paid CE. The position is 3 days a week (about 30 hours). Dental hygienist experience is required.
Dr. Heather Blanchard has been practicing dentistry since 2004. After graduating from the University of Washington with a bachelors degree in molecular and cellular biology, she continued forward completing her doctorate of dental surgery at the universitys dental school. To stay up to date with the latest industry techniques, continuing her education remains one of Dr. Blanchards highest priorities. She is a member of SPEAR and CEREC doctors, as well as the American Dental Association, Montana Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Her goal as a dentist is excellence. With integrity, she strives daily to provide the absolute best dentistry possible while making patients experiences both positive and informed. Dr. Blanchard grew up on a quarter horse ranch in Wyoming. She met her husband, Derek, during her time in Seattle, and they have two children, Sienna and Cannon. When not at the office she enjoys skiing, boating, paddle boarding, fishing, and reading a good book.
As a 2008 graduate from the University of Montana, our office manager, Mandy, is not only a master multi-tasker, but she also holds a degree in radiologic technology. She loves the team atmosphere at our office and contributes greatly to our practice through her strong knowledge and hands-on experience within the field of health care, be it on the front or back end. Mandy will help you to understand how your treatment and care options apply to your insurance plans or how to otherwise help you meet your financial needs amongst many other things. Married since 2006, Mandy has a daughter and a son. When not at the office, she enjoys hobbies such as running, as well as watching and playing hockey. She loves cats and Pugs!
Chloe is our schedule coordinator and likely the first face youll see. She often views her job as a game of Tetris, which is also the challenge she enjoys. With over 20 years of experience in relatable work, she strives to be mindful, anticipating, and accommodating to patients needs. She appreciates Dr. Blanchards thoroughness, direct communication and care, as well as the great sense of humor and chemistry amongst the team. Originally a Pennsylvania native, Chloe moved west at the beginning of 2017. Sending down roots in Montana, she met her husband, Beau, with whom she shares a son. Theyre looking forward to extending the family as of fall 2021 when theyll welcome their daughter, too! The family also loves their two spoiled doggies, Bailey and Doug. When not at the office, Chloe enjoys archery and rifle hunting, fly fishing, snowboarding, and volunteering with the local chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation.
Initially beginning her career in Chicago, Tracy has been practicing as a dental assistant since 1999. She later moved to Montana in 2011 where she continued her career path assisting. She loves knowing and feeling like she is part of a reputable establishment and aids in the success of the office by being a smiling face to comfort you during your visit. A dedicated mother of three, including two boys and one girl, Tracy also enjoys snowboarding, fishing, camping, and crafting.

Beware of harsh hygienist! Lovely location. Dentist is friendly, confident, a great communicator and extremely good at diagnosing cavities. On the spectrum of low drill to maximum drilling theories, she is maximum drill. A cavity will cost you half of your tooth. She is very good at making one comfortable and is gentle. I was unable to tell the dentist how bad her hygienist is at the time, because the hygienist never left the room. One of the dental hygienists is as harsh at cleaning as the last place candidate in a dental school. That candidate 16 yrs ago was hard on the gums and teeth. This dental hygienist is great with gums but pushes too hard on the teeth, pushes the jaw down too hard, constantly rests her hands on the patient's face, and worst of all seemed to be attempting to extract my root, which has hurt for a month since. Was she being vindictive?

Best dentist I've ever had. Heather and the dental hygienists always make sure I'm comfortable. I have issues with my jaw and they always remember and take precautions to make things as pain free and easy as possible. Relaxing office space and nice atmosphere overall.

Dr. Heather and her team are friendly, genuine and professional at all times. The office is neat and tidy and tastefully decorated. I always received very accurate estimates for the dental work needed in the future. My three years living in Kalispell, MT. were a wonderful experience and finding Dr. Heather was a part of that too. I will miss Kalispell AND Sapphire Dental! I hope to find a dental team like them in N.C..

My wife had two visits and there will not be a 3rd! First went as planned, then the second visit they hit me with almost double the price what they had told me prior to the appointment. There was a miscommunication with the time of the appointment and I was told "had you came on time, the bill would've been triple what was quoted". They took plenty of X-rays the first appointment and without any notice or permission they took addtional X-rays. She only went in for one tooth. I get that we are in a pandemic, but to over charge to make up for lost wages and time is completely unacceptable. There are plenty of honest dentists in the valley. Save yourself the money and hassle of getting lied to.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blanchard for a couple of years. I originally took my children to her after their dentist quit taking their insurance. She is good with children and teens. I had avoided the dentist for a few years due to a bad experience. I let her know this and the staff and her were really good about making me feel comfortable. I have had a issue with my teeth for over 20 years. Dr. Blanchard was the first dentist to present a possible solution. We are going thru that process now & I am grateful for her strategic thinking.

Office staff is confused and lazy. I paid extra for Humana dental this year & told them which insurance I had when I made the apt. Gave them my card on arrival, sat & filled out paperwork. The apt. was 2 1/2 hrs long. It should have been a $0 copay. They told me that medicare typically doesn't pay much so letting me know they didn't take my insurance really didn't matter. They stuck me with a bill for $300. It wasn't medicare!! It was a Humana dental plan. I had all the records transferred to a different dentist - he ran my card and said yep, it should have been a 0 copay. Sapphire Dental are con artists

They are incredible at getting your teeth what they need. I'm writing this review because they performed dental services on me that my insurance company then denied. After fighting on my side against the insurance company for AN ENTIRE YEAR, I was still denied. Rather than tell me to pay for a rather expensive procedure no longer covered, they submitted it under something that would be covered. I will gladly tell anyone to go to this office for their teeth, and also warn against using Metlife for dental if you can help it...scumbags. Edit: Still going to this dentist, and still would highly recommend. Works with you to get the most out of your insurance and the least out of your own wallet.

I use to see Dr. Blanchard when I was a teen and now that I am older I chose her as my primary dentist. After 10 years she remembers me and my dental issues and she is always very helpful. I've been 3 other places and she is the best I love her office and the staff there as well; they are always nice and very helpful.
