Dr. William Scott Garris graduated from the College of Charleston in 1994, before earning his doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He has been practicing dentistry since 1998.
To stay up-to-date on all the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Garris maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association and the Coastal District Dental Society.
When he isn't working, Dr. Garris enjoys hunting, fishing, and sports. He is a member of St. George United Methodist Church, is active in many community activities and loves spending time with his wife, Niki, and their three children, Meg, Will and Camryn.
Dr. Jessie Robinson was born and raised in Clemson, SC. She graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) before earning her doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine.
When Dr. Robinson isn't working, she enjoys reading, travel, exercise, and drawing calligraphy. She is married to Dr. Ryan Robinson and is permanently staying in the low-country. Dr. Robinson has two children: a 2 year old boy, Wesley, and 4 month old boy, Bennett; as well as a 5 year old black lab named Sheffield.
Dr. Tiffany Deaton attended Wofford College where she received a dual degree in Biology and Spanish. After earning her doctorate at the Medical University of South Carolina, she completed a general practice residency at MAHEC in Asheville, NC.
As a member of local, state, and national dental organizations such as the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Deaton is devoted to excellence in dentistry while taking a gentle, caring and comprehensive approach to oral health.
Dr. Bear grew up in western Illinois. He graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then completed his doctorate at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

I was a new patient to the practice and anxious about going. The hole staff made me feel like I have been a patient forever. They were very polite and welcoming. It was first experience with a dental hygienist and it was great! I will recommend them!

Awesome practice. From the minute you walk in the door, you're made to feel comfortable and welcome by everyone. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool dentaphobe and this practice has won me over. Still not my favorite thing to do but I don't have the usual terror when I'm scheduled to go here because I know I'll be listened to and my concerns will be taken into consideration in the formation of a treatment plan. I highly recommend this group of caring professionals.

Went to office yesterday for a filling, greeted by Harriet and set up for the procedure. Very proffessional, Dr Scott and Harriet got the job done quickly and without any pain. Great people friendly and efficient. Excellent!

My hygienist, Jenna, is excellent. Dr. Robinson has also done great work on my teeth. In addition, the office staff is friendly and professional.

Asked if they take my insurance and got an appointment made. So far so good. Update: had my first appointment and had the most enjoyable experience you can have during a deep cleaning. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've had unpleasant experiences in the past & tried several different dental practices before I found Santee Dental Care. The staff at Santee Dental are friendly, professional, compassionate, accommodating, & non-judgmental (I admittedly don't floss as frequently as recommended). I actually look forward to my next dental cleaning!

Very happy that appointments are kept on time and never have to wait in a crowded lobby. Jenna and reception staff are very pleasant. Jenna is thorough and yet gentle while cleaning my teeth.

This dental practice is the best I have ever used. I have for over 50 years have had dental care from Maryland, Virginia, California. Root canals, caps, permanent bridges, partial dentures, etc. With that said I know what it means to have a dentist and staff who care more about their patients than they do about money or time. Their objective is assuring their patients are satisfied!!

I took my four year old daughter for her first dentist appointment today. She was a little nervous until Mrs.Kayla Varner came in to greet her. She talked to her until she was comfortable and showed her it wasn't scary. She explained step by step and went at her pace to keep her calm. Now she wants to go back every day for her to clean her teeth and see Mrs.Kayla again. Very clean and professional. The whole staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. Will definitely be keeping them as our family dentist.

Superb staff and facilities! Cold called for an appointment, lucked into one the next day. Shortly thereafter received email for setting up an account and filling out paperwork online. Done in a snap! Was emailed/texted a reminder the next morning. Showed up 5 minutes early, seen within 15 minutes. Very personable and professional dental hygienist/assistant cleaned teeth and did X-rays. Sharp young dentist saw me, reviewed everything. Hygienist, together with receptionist took payment and set up treatment plan with cost options based on insurance scenarios. Set up follow up appointments, done! Fast, efficient, professional with state-of-the-art equipment. What more to ask for?
