This is the best dental office my kids have ever been to. I'm a fan of the consent opportunities given to the kids, the way the staff treats them and the approach of the dentists. Environment is an A+ too!

We keep coming back for Dr. Hope, and many of the hygienists are really good, but I always feel like the appointments are so rushed from start to finish. Some of the hygienists are in such a hurry that they don't take into consideration that they are working with small children. Depending on how the next visit goes, we might be looking for a new pediatric dental office.

Dr.Hope was wonderful, staff was rude and very short. The dental hygienist was rough on my six year old. Seems as she was in a rush, definitely didn't treat my child with care.

Staff is always nice and professional, very patient with my kid, and I like that they are always upfront with the cost of things before it happens so there's never been any surprises with what we'll owe.

Being a former employee of the dentist, I know well how billing works. I also know how my insurance works. The person answering the phone tried to inform me that I would need to pay out of pocket for an emergency visit. Wrong. Then proceeded to tell me that EVEN THOUGH my son JUST got a full series of X-rays, they would need to do them all over (even though I was bringing him in for an EMERGENCY visit (one tooth). Additionally, she tried to inform me that an emergency visit would not be covered since he just had a cleaning with an evaluation and X-rays. ALSO WRONG. Either she doesn't know her billing codes, or is trying to squeeze money out of patients. I believe the later. They are shady. I've worked for (and gladly quit) dentists like this before, where they will try to squeeze money out of you and your insurance in any fashion. Not only is it ILLEGAL, it's wrong.

The technicians were so kind and had my toddler sons at ease! And the movie plying in the ceiling was awesome for keeping them laying still :) highly recommend this children's dentist!

First initial appointment was a good experience, but after that all the appointments were not a good experience, on top of that I find it very odd that they don't allow you to go back with your child while they're getting their work done if you were to choose to want to do so.The women at the front desk are not very pleasant, very cold and rude, also if you make an appointment and something were to happen or something comes up and you have a total of two cancellations at all no matter how long you were with that office for, they will tell you you are no longer allowed to make appointments for their office, I took my children there for years, and my children didn't like the experience there and I will never go back again. Also I feel that their method of tricking the child into taking the medication in the applesauce without telling them is very odd and confusing for children.I absolutely do not recommend this dentist office for your children.my children have also explained to me now that they are a few years older about being strapped down, kneeled on and how the my gad been uncomfortably physically handled by this place during our visits without my knowledge.these experiences have caused serious anxiety even now for every dental visit for my now 13 year old since then.

Dr. Hope is amazing. She is kind, gentle, and soothing. The way she treated my 7 year old daughter was beyond just doing her job. Her assistant Maria (I think?) is also so nice. They are quick and efficient as well.

The staff is so friendly and great with all ages of children! The office is very clean and even has some toys for the kids in the waiting room. A really neat feature they have, is above all the dental chairs in the ceiling, there is a movie playing! We have had great experiences going here!

My sons have been going to Santee Children's Dentistry ever since they were 18 months old, they're 5 now. They see Dr. Andrew and never give me a hard time when going in for their usual dental visits. Just recently my son had 2 cavities filled. It only took about 30 minutes. They took him in the back to get it done and my son walked out like nothing even happened, no crying or anything. The staff is always professional but also so welcoming and personable. I can honestly say my sons truly enjoy going there.

We had initially had a good experience with this office. They were kind and helpful when the office was closed and my daughter had a tooth infection. We finally got an appointment to come in this morning . I was told the day before there was a $7 PPE fee. Thought that was odd we would have to pay for their equipment. Then this morning we were met at the door by someone screening the patients. She asked where my daughter's mask was. I told her we didn't have one. She is 4. I don't take her to the store and she goes to preschool without a mask. I asked if they could give her a mask and she said no and just stared at me. She wouldn't let us in. I told her I guess the appointment is cancelled then and walked away. How rude and insensitive. No offer to reschedule. But I get a text message asking to report how my visit was. It was horrible. Lady at the door...you are rude and cold! I know you don't represent the majority there but I will never bring my daughter back.
