Dr. Andrew Huang is a Bay Area native. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. He then was awarded his D.M.D. degree at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dr. Huang is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). The Fellowship Award is one of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today. The fellowship is presented only to dentists who are committed to continuing education and dedication to dentistry by providing patients with advanced and exceptional oral health care. FAGD has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing education.
Dr. Huang continues his post-graduate studies by attending monthly continuing education courses. He completed the Comprehensive Esthetic & Advanced Fixed Prosthodontics Residency hosted by Dr. Bruce and Dr. Kristi Crispin of Esthetic Professionals in 2012. Since then, he has studied under world-renowned restorative and cosmetic dentist Dr. Frank Spear of Spear Education in Arizona.

Dr. Ann earned her D.D.S degree from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Her background includes collaboration with Childrens Hospital of Oakland to research for the cure for cystic fibrosis (CF). CF is a life-threatening genetic disorder that affects 30,000 children and young adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide).
I am Santa Teresa Dentals very first dental hygienist since September 2011. I have been a dental hygienist for over 25 years. Additionally, I have a Bachelor degree in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University and an Associates degree in Laser Technology. My patients are my priority. I am here to help my patients achieve optimal oral health, but Im also here to listen, to help them relax and help them to enjoy their dental visit.
I am Santa Teresa Dentals newest hygienist since April 2019. I am here on Fridays when our entire office is dedicated to taking care of our re-care patients. I have been in dental field for over 30 years and a dental hygienist for last 18 years. I am especially proud of my Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) certification. I also work in a local periodontist office so I am confident in treating advanced gum disease patients. Patient comfort is my priority and I look forward to meeting you.

Our family dental clinic. We all have good experience with check in & out, appointment schedule, dental hygienist & the doctor. This place is very clean and they have kids waiting room. My daughter loves the waiting room. She is always happy to go to the dental appointments. The doctor's are very caring, listens to any problems carefully. I got my teeth filled 4 years ago and I don't have any problem with the filling. I totally recommend this place.

Becky is patient and painless she flows through the cleaning process like painting a Rembrandt while I listen to soft rock on the bluetooth headset. Doctor Huang sets me at ease with his calming demeaner. Scheduling is easy and reminders via text, email and calendar work very well for someone like me that lives and dies by calendaring.

Dr. Huang and Dr. Ann are both amazing dentists. They are both very personable and thorough. Dr. Huang has replaced a couple of crowns, and he always works quickly and does excellent work. I highly recommend them both.

Today I had my two dental implants completed at Santa Teresa Dental Center today by Dr Andy Huang.I really like this dental center becaue they are "best practice" in all they do. Dr. Andy has always carefully explained why I needed certain work and what the outcome could be either way. When I was in my 70's, I lost a tooth and he suggested an implant . I do not have dental insurance and I told him bluntly that at my age and with my medical issues, it would be a poor investment. So ten years later, I lost a tooth next to it AND the cost had dropped so I went for a double transplant. Transplants have changed dramatically and seem way more high tech than they were.I can not recommend Santa Teresa Dental center too much-Blanca, the technician who has worked on this all along with Dr Andrew is terrific, as is Neyda who handles all my appointments. Becky , the Dental Technician is also terrific and unique and has a way of shaming me nicely for not brushing as much as I should in a very nice (but effective)way. They have all done a terrific job of managing this entire procedure. Dr Anne is the children's dentist so I don't see her so much but she us also terrific at explaining things. I thank You all for a terrific job and for pu tting up with my complaints about the forms and releases etc! You are all GREAT!

Considering it's a dental office, coming here is always a pleasure. I used to dread visiting the dentist. Now, I don't mind at all. My entire family comes here from my brother and his family to my mom. The staff and dentists are awesome. I highly recommend!

As always Santa Theresa dental provided excellent service for my visit this time. And this goes from setting up the appointment, getting a reminder text to getting the work done. Dr. Andrew Huang is calm and confident, oozes kindness and concern, and never ever loses focus on the well-being of the patient. I used to dread going to the dentist but with him and his team of people behind him, going to other dentist is a breeze. I could not recommend them highly enough. Oh and you have never seen an office more organized or using the latest and greatest of the newest technology out there. Make an appointment now!!! His schedule fills up quickly!!!

I only came in for X-rays for this appointment but Mercedes is fantastic!! She was patient and understanding with my gag reflexes. I also appreciate her for her safety lead apron, as I was an X-ray tech years ago and have received my fair share of radiation. Thanks Mercedes!!

I have been a patient of Santa Teresa Dental since the practice opened several years ago. I have always received excellent care from everyone. Dr Huang is very professional and polite. He never seems in a hurry, answers all questions I may have and never tries to push unnecessary procedures. I've been coming here for more than 10years for routine dental care and recently for Invisalign. When you come into Santa Teresa Dental, you are greeted warmly by professional staff who make you feel like your part of their family. I've been a patient at Santa Teresa dental for over 5 years, and I have always been very pleased with care and attention I've receive from Dr. Huang and Dr. Ann. If you are looking for a dental practice that not only helps you resolve your dental problems, but also helps you prevent new ones from occurring this is the place to come. In the past I would go to the dentist to fix my cavity's, but I never felt like they would ever take the time to educate me on how to prevent this issues. At Santa Teresa dental they always provide lots of information to both adults and children on the importance of oral hygiene.
