Since the early 1950s, doctors here have shared a vision for the skillful, compassionate, patient-centered care that has defined us for decades. Doctors Gerald Corsi, Michael Hoey and James Pearson officially incorporated in 1967. In 1979, they and Dr. Jon Scarr combined practices with that of Dr. Jack Tolin to form Santa Rosa & Rohnert Park Oral Surgery as you know it today. Our founding doctors are now retired, but Corsi, Hoey and Tolin continue to serve as our trusted mentors. They continue to serve the practice at an executive level several hours a week to allow us to focus on giving you the outstanding individualized care you deserve.
While we treasure our esteemed history, we are a forward-looking practice offering cutting-edge technology in state-of-the-art facilities. Our highly accomplished, award-winning oral and maxillofacial surgeons are all board certified or board eligible and bring particular expertise in tooth extraction and wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting and sinus lifts, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), oral pathology and more.
We love what we do at Santa Rosa & Rohnert Park Oral Surgery, and many of us have been working here for decades. We stay because we enjoy the family atmosphere of our two warm and welcoming offices. We have tremendous respect for one another as both colleagues and dear friends, and we cherish our community. We pride ourselves on the relationships we have built with our patients and families as well as with our referring dentists, physicians and specialists. We are further fulfilled by our volunteerismwhether its coaching Little League, treating low-income populations, or delivering continuing education lectures to dental colleagues, we are grateful to serve the community we happily call home.
From your first encounter, you will find our Administrative team to be friendly and knowledgeable about your dental health. They are skilled in navigating insurance benefits and financial options, and fully prepared to assist with any concerns you have about your treatment.
You will find our Surgical team has a genuine concern for your care. They are experienced, and specifically trained in the administration of IV sedation and outpatient surgery. Our Surgical Assistants have completed additional curriculum to become Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Assistants (OMSA). They are certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), OSHA infection control and sterilization protocols, and are licensed in dental radiography.

My experience at Santa Rosa Oral Surgery was very positive. Dr. Jason Rogers performed the procedure, which required the extraction of the tooth (broken at the gum line), followed by the placement of the implant, all within the 40 minutes that Dr. Rogers indicated that the procedure would take from the time I sat in the chair until I left the office. I felt no pain or numbness in the mouth, tongue, cheek or lips after the procedure. I had minimal bleeding and was able to eat a couple of hours later. I thought the entire staff from the receptionist and the initial interviewer to the assistant during the surgery were knowledgeable and professional. I particularly appreciated the surgery assistant explaining each step of the procedure from the numbing shot to the final x-ray in real time. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers to those thinking about getting an implant.

I have gotten two implants, one in the Santa Rosa office and one in the Rohnert Park office. Both experiences were great; no issues and they made me very comfortable and walked me through every step. I highly recommend them.

I was terrified to get my impacted wisdom teeth out, especially after waiting about ten years longer than I ought've. I've never been put under general anesthesia, either, so I was very nervous on the days leading up to the surgery. Could've saved a whole lot of time spent stressing, however, because the whole procedure went so smoothly and doctors Tyko and Rogers were incredibly professional and excellent at what they do. There was clearly never any need to worry. They were very courteous and explained each step of the process, and it felt like no time passed at all by the time the procedure was finished. Recovery went very well and they even called me up after the surgery to make sure I was healing properly. Highly recommend coming here if you need your teeth fixed.

Dr. Jason Rogers extracted a cracked and painful bicuspid, added a bone graft, and inserted an implant. All in about 45 minutes. He and the four-person staff were professional, courteous, and empathetic. The lidocaine injections were uncomfortable (as expected) but they were the only pain I experienced. I had no post-operative discomfort or excessive bleeding. In addition, Dr. Rogers and his team adjusted their schedule to see me earlier than planned due to the sudden onset of pain I was experiencing caused by complications related to the cracked tooth. One would expect a tooth extraction to be unpleasant. For me, it was a relief.

Simply put, best experience ever. From the first person you meet in the reception room, to the knowledgeable and kind nurses, ending with the perfection of Dr. Rogers...Great people turning a not so fun necessity into a really positive process. Dr Rogers is probably the nicest Dentist I have had the pleasure of sitting in their chair. Always very welcoming and ensures your in as much comfort at possible. He is very thorough with explaining procedures and answers all questions. The staff is also very friendly and makes sure your taken care of on the way in and out. I highly recommend this office!!!!

I scheduled an appointment for a consultation with them this past spring to have my wisdom teeth extracted. They charged me $150 to sit there and watch the "What to Expect" videos and a less than five-minute chat with the oral surgeon (By the way, they don't do general anesthesia at this oral SURGERY clinic so they'd have to refer out anyway). The surgeon said someone would call me that day to schedule or see if I wanted to be referred elsewhere for anesthesia. I never received a call. I eventually went elsewhere. Today, almost six months later, they call me to tell me I still had a balance due. Never received one bill. The lady on the phone argued that they've sent several notices and then she realized she has the wrong address listed. I reminded her that I never received a call to schedule my surgery and she didn't do anything to correct that, just said she'd re-send the bill. Great customer service, folks. Just keep sucking up those consultation fees without actually providing a service.

Dr. Rogers and Dr. Tyko were wonderful. I had a great experience. I was put under and had two teeth pulled. They were very nice, comforting and professional. After the procedure Dr. Rogers called to check on me and the following week he met with me for a follow-up. I highly recommend these two doctors.
