Dr. Jared T. Lee grew up in Fullerton, California where he played baseball and football in high school, participated in Boys State and earned his Eagle Scout award. He attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After his freshman year, he put school on hold for a two-year church mission in Mexico where he learned to speak Spanish, but more importantly, he found that life is best lived serving others.
When he returned to his studies at BYU he was also reunited with his study partner, the former Deborah Dixon. A year later they were married. As undergraduate students, Dr. Lee and his wife spent a summer in Guatemala living with the Kiche Maya while they each wrote a chapter in a book about the local Guatemalan healthcare systems.
After earning his undergraduate degree at BYU in Exercise Science with a double major in Anthropology, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA. During dental school, Dr. Lee served as the representative for all California dental students to the American Student Dental Association, participating in several committees. At UCLA he co-authored a research study on diagnosis of dental caries using sophisticated 3-dimensional imaging technology.
After dental school, Dr. Lee spent three years as a postdoctoral clinical fellow at Columbia University in New York City where he received a Masters degree in Orthodontics. His research focused on the accuracy of computerized representations of dental and skeletal models. He served as the postdoctoral representative the Colleges ethics committee and as class president.
Dr. Lee, his wife Debi and their three children are delighted to make their home in Santa Paula. You might see them riding bikes around town, spot them eating tacos, or catch them at the library during childrens story time. Dr. Lee regularly participates in professional meetings and study clubs to continue his orthodontic education and to stay current with the most up to date treatments and procedures.

I need to start off my review by saying everyone's experience is different not everyone is going to feel or get the result that I did but I think it's valid for me to share my experience. Going back to the consultation, I had previously had braces many years back but I just needed minor modifications. They made two suggestions but made one of them sound more appealing which of course did cost more, and since I was already going to go through the whole process again I said ok why not just get it done, plus the result were reassuring. Throughout the follow ups all the employees were really friendly during visits. Very welcoming. And to be honest did most of the work many of follow ups are just with the assistants. However, getting appointments was difficult. At times I felt like I was left out. If I didn't reach out to them they wouldn't reach out for follow up appointments which it was completely different from the office I attended the first round many years back. In my opinion as a patient/customer with a plan of care in place I should automatically get appointed visit or calls if I haven't been in office in a while. Coming to the end of my treatment plan of care changed and I wasn't given what was first talked about at the consultation. Which is very upsetting! I went back to the office weeks after my braces were taken off due to still having a small gap and I was told there are options to get it fixed but of course it would cost a lot more money and will need to reapply braces! I honestly feel like it was a scam and regret going with the option that they really recommended I should proceed with not only because it did cost more but now I have a gap that was never there and was NOT why I went to get braces.

My daughter has been going to Dr.Lee for over a year now, WOUNDERFUL staff! Always greets my daughter by 1st name, always smiling! Staff makes you feel comfortable, my daughter looks foward to her visits and always comes out laughing talking about something someone said or did...she feels comfortable going and that is a PLUS for me! Highly recommended and my son will be a patient soon also!! beautiful office n great music while u wait!

Prior to Dr. Lee, I had taken my daughter to Dr. Veal. Not sure how I felt about changing doctors when doctor Dr. Veal retired but he assured me Dr. Lee was an amazing doctor. He told me he wouldn't leave his practice or patients to just anybody. I trusted him and took my son. He was right! Dr Lee and his staff are wonderful! Very modern and upbeat environment! Would definitely recommend!
