Periklis Proussaefs D.D.S, MS (also referred as Dr. Perry for short) is a Prosthodontist (a dentist specialized in cosmetic, dental implant, and prosthetic dentistry). Dr. Proussaefs has been a dentist for 20 years. He obtained his dental degree from the University of Athens in 1992. He earned a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics, a Masters Degree in Prosthodontics, and a certificate in Implant Dentistry from Loma Linda University (LLU), California, in 2000. He has been licensed as a dentist in California since 1998, and he is also licensed and extensively trained to provide dental care under IV sedation. IV sedation is a safe procedure that offers to patients with dental phobias the opportunity to receive comfortable dental care while being sedated. Dr. Proussaefs has received numerous national and international level awards for his research and clinical innovations in dental implants and Prosthodontics, and holds several honorary positions in the dental community:
Dr Proussaefs has been a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Santa Barbara Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration (AO), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP). In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, snorkeling, movies, sports, and spending time with his wife and two kids Arian and Athena.

This place feels like a scam. They're never open and never return my calls when I tried to make appointments. My last few appointments kept getting pushed back and they would be closed randomly so I found a new dentist. Also told me I needed deep cleanings all the time and dentists since then have never mentioned I have unhealthy gums. Other than that the ppl that work there are friendly and the establishment itself looks nice but something feels off.

By far the cleanest an best dental office I have been to. Staff and doctor very friendly and kind, had my crowns done they feel great, my husband will be going to them for implants. They have lots of technology and they seem very updated.

Dr. Peri. Proussaefs is outstanding! He is an Honest and Kind doctor. He would do only what your teeth need and not how much he can get out more money from working on your teeth. I had several dentists before , and I can see Dr. Proussaefs is One Of A Kind. Knowledgeable, Kind and Honest. I am amazed to see how quickly he responds to my urgent call. He was able to squiz me in between his own schedule and stop my tooth ache less then 30 minutes.. I am very lucky to have him as my dentist. I want to thanks Him and all His Staff!. Thanks for taking care of me.From the bottom of my heart I wish you all great success and a lots of good health! I have been telling all my friends about Dr. Oeri. because he is a caring doctor. Excellent service, if you need crown work or implants this is the place to go. New office, very clean, efficient service. They worked with my insurance so I can get my benefits, no pain during the work, implants and crowns on top fit perfect.

Dr. Proussaefs is the most trustworthy dentist I have ever been to. I was worried that one of my teeth was having problems. Dr. P took x-rays of the tooth from a few different angles and told me that the tooth was fine. Another dentist told me it needed a crown, but Dr. P was able to show me on the x-rays that it is, in fact, fine. Dr. Proussaefs has a very caring manner, and I feel very confident in his care. The hygienist does a very thorough teeth cleaning, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Proussaefs and Santa Paula Dental Group - they are very caring, professional and friendly.

I met dr Perry during dental seminars when he was training myself and other dentists in inplant dentistry and Dental anesthesiology. Dr Proussaefs is probably the most knowledgeable dentist I have ever met. I frequently consult him and ask his opinion when i have a difficult Implant case or extraction. He is also very ethical as well and i highly recommend him to any patient.

Woman answering phones on 08/13/2018 10:30am was rude short and not helpful. For a person completely afraid of dentists, this is a huge deterrent. For some, seeing a dentist is stressful. I was really hoping for a welcoming warm voice that could answer my questions or guide me.
