Dr. Farahmand has been practicing general dentistry in Southern California since 1997. Raised in Monterey, she moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB, where she received her Bachelor degree in Psychobiology. Dr. Farahmand then attended the USC School of Dentistry to get her doctorate degree. She has found her passion in giving patients the confidence that comes with a healthy beautiful smile.
During her free time, Dr. Farahmand loves adventure and has a very active life outside of work. She partakes on weekly hikes with her family, enjoys entertaining guests and traveling, but most of all, Dr. Farahmand loves giving back to her community and is part of numerous philanthropic and charitable ventures while giving her time to the communities dear to her heart. Dr. Farahmands desire to help her community led her to serve on the board of Sinai Temple and Sinai Akiba Academy for five years. Although very accomplished, her proudest achievement is being a loving wife and mother of four.
When it comes to her work at Santa Monica Dental Office, more than anything, the comfort and care of her patients is priority number one. Over her years in the industry, Dr. Farahmand has established strong relationships with patients, patients she now calls friends, and relishes the chance to provide them with strong dental care, always accompanied by a smile. Joined by a professional and dedicated administrative support and dental hygiene staff, a visit to Santa Monica Dental Office is not your typical trip to the dentist. Dr. Farahmand and her team treat their patients like family, and strive to provide them with an experience that makes them feel comfortable and looked after.
Dr. Farahmand has spent years becoming well versed and expert in Invisalign along with growing her passion for cosmetic dentistry. Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets or wires are involved, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces exist. Typically, cosmetic dentistry involves: The addition of a dental material to teeth or gums bonding, porcelain veneers (laminates), crowns (caps), and gum grafts. The removal of tooth structure or gums enameloplasty, gingivectomy are also examples of cosmetic dentistry that is practiced at Santa Monica Dental Office.

I just had two crowns put in my back teeth and had crown lengthening as well. I was amazed at how Dr. Ellie & all of the staff were gentle with their work, reassuring with their words, and sensitive to my scheduling needs. On top of that, I've had past crowns in other practices which would take forever to get the bite right, and I've never had anything so smooth and fitting. This means the quality of the work is exceptional. Thank You Dr. Ellie & everyone at the office-I couldn't recommend more highly.

I've been going to Santa Monica Dental Office for over 22 years and I live in Orange County! If you want healthy and beautiful teeth and gums this is the place to go. First i went to Dr. Aaronson and now to Dr. Ellie Farahmand, who remodeled the entire facility..it is beautiful, modern, welcoming, calming and spotless. Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and professional.

OMG the absolute BEST dentist everrrrrr! I love this office so much and their staff. Dr. Ellie is so pleasant, explains everything thoroughly and I am just so lucky to have found my forever dentist. If you're in LA this is your place to go to.
