For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and Master Card/Visa. Payment is expected at the time services are performed. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office.
As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs, including non-managed care, indemnity (traditional) and PPO out-of-network. We are not part of any managed care network. Our accounting staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our staff will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months.

I have been visiting Santa Fe Dental for 3+ years, and it has always been a great experience! Everyone has been incredibly helpful and professional. My most recent visit was to start a new Invisalign plan, and Dr. Vazquez was extremely patient and informative during the initial consultation. Dr. Vazquez took time to explain and go through each part of it, and what to expect on my Invisalign journey!

I went to Santa Fe Dental yesterday for a crown. This was my first time at Santa Fe Dental. I was referred there as an office that offers more affordable dental care. This is the first root canal and crown I've ever had. I was distressed to learn none of it was covered by my insurance. After calling dental offices as far north as Willits, and as far south as Novato, I found Santa Fe Dental in Santa Rosa to be the most affordable by a long shot. I did a ton of comparing of dentists reading reviews, etc. I was horrified by much of what I read on Yelp. Santa Fe Dental has a website that is extremely informative. It includes explanations and videos of exactly what you can expect for every procedure. Because less expensive is not necessarily better treatment, I was a bit concerned going in to Santa Fe Dental. I was pleasantly surprised by a very modern, clean, spacious dental office. The staff was friendly and helpful. Most importantly the dental care I received was top notch. Dr. Vasquez was extremely calm, gentle, and thoughtful. He took his time truly reviewing my medical history (not just skimming through it) and asked me pertinent questions. I experienced no pain or discomfort from the beginning to the end of my treatment. They were also able to accommodate my initial exam and the placement of the crown all in one visit, as they have the technology to mold the crown on site. They take Care Credit, which offers 0% interest for the first 12 months. I hope anyone reading this doesn't have to go through a root canal or a crown, but if you do, you are in good and safe hands with Dr. Vasquez.
