I can go in detail about my terrible dental experience here beginning with just the x-ray, to getting my wisdom tooth removed without enough anesthesia and a dental assistant that had such a heavy hand who kept placing the suction in painful areas as well as points to where I instantly gag in addition to a painful deep cleaning but the most alarming thing about this dental office was that I was charged over $127 more than I was suppose to. The only reason I knew this was by checking my insurance's claim report that came in the mail after my services as they showed my fees I was expected to pay out of pocket were lower than what I was charged. It's ridiculous to have to come back and ask for such a large amount back let alone not receiving any sort of apology from the staff or explanation other than blaming my insurance and receiving a check from them that was not even the exact difference of the transactions. The actual amount that I paid over was 127.20 but they just wrote me a check for $127. Very unprofessional and shady considering I would've been out $127 had I not looked at my statement and noticed the difference. I wanted my records to go to a different dentist and to be fair I came 10 mins before closing as that was the only time I could and I didn't think it would be too much of a hassle since it's just paperwork. I went on a Thursday at 5:50 (they close at 6) and the office was closed. A janitor was mopping and at first just ignored the phone ringing so I decided to just knock but she told me she didn't have access to anything and to come back on Saturday. I thought business hours were Monday - Sat? I came back on Saturday and apparently couldn't get my own records until Tuesday to first get the owners permission? Forget it. Definitely look for a different dentist. Nothing but hassles.

My gums are still hurting after 3 months of them doing basic cleaning. One of the assistant dentist may not know how to be gentle. I had to wait for more than 30 minutes to get anesthesia and then another 30 minutes or more. I feel like they rushed through my teeth and session. I won't be going there any more and will find a better dentist to treat my aching gums. I feel like they will do something to your gums or teeth just to make you go back and do additional sessions with them. Horrible experience overall.

I had an appointment at 11am and I was finally called back at 12:20pm. I'm not exaggerating. When I walked in to the tiny waiting area there was over 5 people waiting to be seen. This place can do a better job at scheduling to make sure they are not over crowding their clients in a pandemic. Especially since I had to wait for over an hour to be seen, couldn't I have just been scheduled at 12pm? Administrative staff was friendly and I liked that they were bilingual since most of the people in the area are Spanish speaking. Once I was done with X-rays I had to wait another 25 minutes in the patient room. They recently opened this office yet their equipment already looks run down and dirty. Honestly I do not recommend this place, it's not convenient or considerate of your time. The dentist took a look at my teeth for 5 minutes and found 8 missing fillings, 3 crowns, and one extraction. I went to a second dentist for a second opinion and I didn't need all of what the Santa Fe dentist recommended. This place seems predatory and a HEAVY Medi-Cal biller. I was in the waiting room and one of the children being seen came out in less than 20 minutes the parents and I were confused, they even asked what did the dentist even do. In my second appointment, at 10am, I was sent in a room at 10:22am (I had told myself I am walking out if I don't get seen or moved by 10:30) and was not seen by a dentist until 10:37am. He numbed me and did not come back into the room and it was 11:30am. I walked out. DO NOT GO HERE. The dentist does not explain anything, what they're doing, what's happening. I read the other reviews and I thought I'll give this place a try, they're new. Do not do it. Terrible service.

When I came here I thought I finally found the perfect dentist! I was greeted respectfully, paper works was a breeze, it was even a short wait i was like yess!! Until the 2nd 3rd 4th time I've come its been horrible. I went in for annual cleaning and also getting prepared to get braces. I was having some tooth pain found out I needed a root canal okay so I i go in to have that done. They took me back injected the numbing medicine in my mouth waiting 25 mins in the room with the medicine already working.. In that meantime heard employees talk about other patients. So very unpleasant and unprofessional. I had to leave my room and had to make notice of my presence. Doctor came in and started but while he was doing it he'd leave me more then I should have been left. Next appointment was to fill in my rootcanal come to find out there is still a nerve inside! New doctor, lady doctor, has the nerve to tell me that it's not the nerve!? which it clearly and still is. She had told me that is child hood tooth trauma which I find soo hard to believe Because my mom worked in dental field for over 25 years became manager and worked with highly HIGHLY professional doctors, which whom I was in care with at the time. So I know it wasn't child hood tooth trauma. Little do they know, I myself worked in dental field 4+ years and have extreme knowledge in the field. I would laugh in my head when they would tell me otherwise. You have 2 doctor's telling you different opinions/ thoughts. I do not recommend this office especially for a child. Also the way they over book very unprofessional they will book 10 appts with the same doctor within the hour. So your either there for 2 hours and or get in proper dental care which I have both unfortunately received. When all done I will be writing an email to DCA.

My mother had an appointment for this Thursday 05-28-2020 and today, Wednesday 05-27-2020, she received a phone call from the office and the receptionist let her know that the doctor will not be coming in on her appointment date and that her appointment will be cancelled. Instead of giving her the option to reschedule the receptionist said that my mother had to call again to reschedule. I find this unprofessional, having my mother or any patient on the phone, rescheduling should be an option rather than just cancelling an appointment. We will not be going to this dentist and advise others to look at this review before scheduling with them. Thank you.

My mom had an appointment last week, the dentist assistant gave my mom which is 70 years old, 3 shots of anesthesia, left her waiting for an hour, then came back and told my mom, that they have to postpone her appointment. Me and my mom were $%!&&#& mad, how can they give her 3 shots on her gums and then tell her never mind come back next week. Very bad experience.
