I have just seen Dr. B Cheng DDS, MD for the removal of an impacted wisdom tooth. From the very first phone call the staff were kind, professional and knowledgeable. My assessment appointment was easy and Dr. Cheng is very pleasant. Both Dr. Cheng and his staff are excellent at relieving the nervousness. I was scared. He removed the tooth in under 10 minutes with no pain at all. I had a local anesthetic and was perfectly fine. It is surprising how fast I am healing. This is due to the skill and experience of Dr. Cheng and his assistants. I highly recommend Santa Cruz Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Cheng and his fantastic staff. Don't bother with he rest just go see the best.

The whole staff is amazing , every single one of them. They take your emergency concerns quickly and professionally , they contact you back in less than an hour I am a patient for Dr. TJ , he is an amazing doctor very professional and cares deeply about his patients, i had 3 of my wisdom teeth removed and i've seen alot of doctors to try to take them out since they were so hard to be extracted, 3 of the dentists i saw before recommended him and they were spot on,my procedure was swift and easy giving the fact that i had anxiety about the whole thing, Dr TJ was the nicest during that time with reassuring me and the whole staff that was there were soooo nice and professional, truly they were all angels . i highlt recommend him and his practice. They are the best and top of the top. I love them

I had my wisdom teeth extraction done here by Dr. TJ, and it was a wonderful experience compared to what I've heard about wisdom teeth removal from friends. Dr. TJ is very kind, reassuring, and is great at communicating with his patients. After the consultation I had with him it relieved a lot of the worries I had about going through with this surgery. He gave what I felt was a very honest consultation, as he recommended I only remove the bottom two teeth (which I was shocked to hear as my regular dentist has been pushing me to get them all removed). The procedure itself was only 20 minutes and I did not seem to experience any "loopiness" when I woke up. The team that checked my vitals and inserted my IV were very kind and reassuring when I started to have anxiety (as I had never been sedated before). Bleeding stopped by the end of the day, and there has been virtually no pain, swelling, or discomfort. This office does not prescribe opioids for recovery, which I was happy to hear -- just extra strength Ibuprofen, which by day 4 I've only had to take as needed instead of around the clock. Overall I would highly recommend going with this office for wisdom teeth extraction, especially with Dr. TJ!

A dental assistant named Samantha was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. I came for a wisdom teeth (2 bottoms) consult. Dr. Khalilzadeh then came in and was very smooth and professional and honest. And told me that at my age and oral health, he would not recommend a wisdom teeth extraction. I appreciated his honesty since multiple regular dentists have almost pushed for me to get mine extracted. His putting the patient first rather than being all about the $$$ told me all I needed to know about Santa Cruz OMS. Would highly recommend for any considering.

A dental assistant named Samantha was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. I came for a wisdom teeth (2 bottoms) consult. Had a great experience getting my wisdom teeth surgery done here. Dr. Touraj was super informative and caring about the whole procedure. The entire process went very smoothly and the nursing staff were supportive the whole time.

I had my lower wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Cheng removed them in less than 30 minutes, and even though they were impacted, and infected, the surgery went perfectly. The Staff was professional, and courteous, and I had a great experience. I followed the very clear medication plan they gave me, and my recovery was nearly completely pain free. I will be returning to Dr. Cheng for any oral surgery needs I have in the future. Thanks Dr. Cheng, and the staff of SCOMS!

One of the worst jaw surgeons, acted horribly post op and ruined my surgery. He has given me extreme mouth pain, receding gum line, and a daily anxiety over how my mouth/teeth feel. I warn others to stay away!
