Dr. Derek Jones graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and went on to the Yale affiliated general practice residency in Waterbury, CT. During his time as a student and resident, he received many academic and community service awards.
Dr. Jones loves dentistry and has been practicing for 7 years. After practicing in his home state of Rhode Island, Dr. Jones is excited about his move to southern Maine, an area he has enjoyed since he was young. In his free time he loves to fish, play ice hockey and hike with his dog, Kobe.
He is joined by his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Jones, known as 'Dr. Liz'.Shegraduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency, serving as chief resident during her second year. She joins Dr. Derek Jones part time and especially loves seeing children. She is also Director of the Dental Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH.
Brendais our Financial Coordinator. Her knowledge and dedication make her invaluable to patients and the team. She has been with the practice for 21 years. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys cooking, reading, music and cheering on all New England teams, especially the Patriots!
Louiseis our Hygienist. Patients love her because she is caring and always takes the time to answer any questions. She has been with the practice for 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, adult children and grandkids.
Jennyis our Hygienist. She loves getting to know her patients and providing the best care possible. She has been with the practice for two years, after graduating from UNE. In her free time, she can be found spending time with her family and dog, Bailey.
Michelleis our Assistant. Her attention to detail and smiling face make the practice a great place to visit. She has been with the practice for 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys biking with her husband, Craig and spending time with their sons and grandson.
Katieis our assistant. Her easy going and friendly attitude puts patients at ease. She has been a dental assistant for 10 years and enjoys restoring patients smiles. In her free time, you can find her relaxing with her boyfriend, Sean and their two cats. She also loves spending time with her niece and brand new nephew.
Aliis our assistant. You may also see her smiling face scheduling patients and running sterilization. She is caring, friendly and puts patients at ease. She enjoys family BBQs and outings with her two children and husband, Brian.
Kristyis our Assistant. She is energetic and upbeat and especially loves seeing children. When away from the office, she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys the outdoors, especially snowmobiling with her 3 children and husband, James.

This was the best dentist experience I have had in a long time. I was very impressed with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as with the team of people here. Everyone explained exactly what was going to be done and I really appreciated being able to understand the treatment plan being recommended. I highly recommend this this Dental Practice.
