We believe every vendor plays a role in our mission to provide health and healing. Therefore, we are careful to select suppliers who provide excellent service, value, and innovation.

Vendors approved to work with a Sanford Health entity must register and meet prerequisites with our vendor credentialing system. This is an annual process (fees apply). We also have strict policies where prerequisites must be accomplished prior to on-site visits at Sanford Health facilities.

Sanford Health partners with nonprofit organizations to strengthen the health, social and economic well-being of the communities we serve. We prioritize support for community initiatives that address needs in the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA)and focus on vulnerable populations.

Each community is unique, so each funding request considers local conditions. We have established criteria, however, to guide these decisions. Our community giving follows two different processes, based on the amount of the request within the calendar year.

Sanford Medical Centers listed below completed assessments in their communities and developed strategies to address local health needs. Sanford Health values these partnerships as we all work together to improve the human condition through exceptional care, innovation and discovery. Community Health Needs Assessments were conducted during 2015-2016 and included input from a broad base of community members and leaders.
