An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Listen to me people out their, when I tell you I had the best dental service from Sandy Plains Dental. Words can't describe it. Nikki, Tierra, and Dr. Pulliam were awesome they really did take care of me. I recommend Sandy Plain Dental.

I attempted to make a new patient appointment. I found them under the provider search on my health insurance app (EMI Health Dental - Advantage Plan). The general dentist, Joel Collins comes up. The oral surgeon, Rools Dessieux comes up. Then dentistry endodontics, Shaletha Bolden, also comes up under provider search. All from this office. The woman on the phone told me that my insurance is not on their network, yet it comes up on my provider search. This makes 0 sense to me.

Dr. Pulliam is a very passionate and professional when it comes to dental hygiene. Her expertise and knowledge extends beyond her practice. She gave me an excellent toothbrush recommendation and I'm really glad that I went with the electric toothbrush she recommended. Most professionals just do their job... Everyone was so great and professional!! One of the best dental experience ever! The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming. Hannah the dental assistant was amazing! The Dr. Pulliam was so knowledgeable and took very good care of me. Overall a 5 star experience.

I had just moved to this area of town and had a dental emergency. I called at 8:15 AM, they had me in the chair by 9:30 AM. I had a root canal and a crown, all done by 2 PM. No temporary crown... The actual crown. I'm glad it was so easy to find a new dentist!

The team at Sandy Plains Dental Group are amazing! So friendly and welcoming. I was very impressed that all my treatments have been performed by the dentist, even the routine cleanings. The state of the art facility was unique to me, I enjoyed seeing the use of the technology and being able to see my progress visit to visit on the screen in front of me. Seeing the objective changes are encouraging and will keep me motivated to do the right thing until my next visit.

This was my second visit. I initially went for a cleaning and to my surprise I needed some work done. Dr. Pulliam was very professional and soft with her delivery. Her work was magnificent!! The staff was friendly and relatable. Hannah is awesome. I really enjoyed a dental appointment (unheard of I know lol). Overall this place is a 10 out of 10!!!
