Dr. Travis Bennett was born and raised in small town outside of Phoenix, Arizona and is the oldest of four siblings. He excelled in sports, academics, and participated in 4H and FFA growing up, as his father was a high school agriculture teacher. Graduating in 2000 with Honors from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business, Dr. Bennett went on to attend Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2005. In dental school he excelled both academically and clinically and graduated at the top of his class.

Dr Bennett moved to the Keys and took over his current dental practice in Key Largo in 2006. Dr. Bennett takes pride in having one of the most technologically advanced dental practices in the nation and definitely enjoys his profession. He is an active member of the FDA, ADA, ACDA, and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In addition, he is an alumnus of the Misch International Implant Institute in both Implantology and Prosthetics and is an Implant Fellow.

Travis is an avid fisherman, free diver, scuba diver and enjoys all that the Florida Keys has to offer. He is a Board of Director for the Islamorada Fishing Club and enjoys fishing the local dolphin and sailfish tournaments. In addition, he is an active supporter of the community and has served on the Board of Directors for the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce and Upper Keys Artificial Reef Foundation.

One of the things that Dr. Bennett enjoys most is being part of a small close knit community that takes care of their own. Daily conversations with patients about the latest diving or fishing report is always a highlight of his day.

Sometimes life comes full circle and there is no exception here. Sandy moved to Key Largo and attended Coral Shores High School from herfreshman year until she graduated one year early in 2003. It was there she met Jeff, her husband-to-be.

During her senior year at Coral Shores, she interned at Everyone Loves A Gentle Dentist. While interning, she decided on a career in dentistry. After graduation, she attended Florida International University to study Health Sciences Administration and advanced through her undergraduate program in three short years, graduating Cum Laude.

She was accepted into Nova Southeastern University School Of Dentistry in 2007, which is where Dr. Bennett also attended. After graduating in 2011, she began practicing general and family dentistry in Miami, Florida.

One of Dr. Brito's greatest qualities is her ability to interact and socialize with people. Most of her free time is spent chasing her two children around the house as well as spending quality time with family and friends. She enjoys making digital scrapbooks, boating, vacationing and trying new foods and restaurants. Shes passionate about running as she has completed multiple marathons and half marathons, with her most recent achievement being Disneys Dopey Challenge (5k,10k, half marathon and full marathon in 4 consecutive days).

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she admits to having a 'genuine love for dentistry and interaction with patients.' She consistently strives for quality care with a positive patient experience. Dr. Brito has an aesthetic eye in Dentistry and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures such as Botox and Dermal Fillers. She stays current with the ever changing dental climate by immersing herself in numerous continuing education courses as well as being actively involved with the ADA, FDA, and SFDDA.

MacKenzie was born in South Florida. She stayed in south Florida until college when she decided to attend the University of Minnesota. She then met her now husband and traveled the country with him serving in the military. They decided to settle back in the Florida Keys. MacKenzie loves the ocean, fishing, lobstering, crabing, diving, and just about everything the keys life provides. She is an animal lover, she is very family oriented, and an amazing asset to or practice.

Breanna or Bree originally from cold Ohio moved to Florida in 2018 to soak up the sun. Breanna worked as a dental assistant in Ohio for a year just before moving to her new home in Florida. Shortly after her move she completed her dental assisting certificate at AVM Dentistry in 2019. Breanna now works as a receptionist verifying insurance and checking patients in and out. She works hard to keep patients happy.

Breanna commutes to the Key Largo office Monday through Friday where she will always answer your call with a welcoming voice. She resides in Palmetto Bay with her Fianc Mario, 2 dogs and cat. She is a complete animal lover, She also enjoys spending time with Mario and shopping at her favorite store Home Goods.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Annie made Key Largo, Floridaher home back in 2009, She now lives in Lancaster PA where she works remotely with our office. She, her husband, and 2 beautiful girls love it up in Lancaster but we miss having here here with us. She often visits and we visit her as well.

Annie attendedPontificia Universidad Catolica MadreY MaestraCollege in Santiago, D.R. and majored in Marketing. She alsomajored inInternational Conflict Management at Den International Hojskole, Denmark.She joinedour Key Largo practice,in 2011Annie and has been instrumental in overseeing many changesincluding paperless billing. A stickler for detail, we can always rely on Annie for organizing ourever changingoffice projects.

Stephanie or 'Steph' is the shortest member of our team at5 feettall 'On a good day with heels.' She joined the practice in 2004 and quickly secured a permanent position as Dr. Bennett 's assistant. In 2006, she attended Nova Southeastern University andbecame certified in dental expanded functions. Shecontinues toattend the latestdental education courses with Dr. Bennett and Dr. Brito to stay current with today 's technology. She enjoys Oral surgery and cosmetic procedures. Steph 's amazing personality makes patients feel like they are right at home, her caring demeanor and overall kindness brings a calm to even the most stressful procedures.

Born and Raised in southern California Leslie moved and joined our practice in 2014. Leslie is registered as an expanded functions dental assistant in California, Virginia, and Florida. Her overall dedication to her patients goes above and beyond. Leslie enjoys oral surgery dentistry along with cosmetic procedures including crowns and bridges. She attends CE courses every year with Dr. Bennett and Dr. Brito to stay current with the latest technology and procedures.

Dr. Sandy Britos Assistant, Leah Wampler joined our team in the Summer of 2017. A native of the Florida Keys, Leah completed her Expanded Functions for Dental Assisting and Radiology at The University of Florida in 2016.

As a working mother of two, she has a knack for calming children during dental visits and making them feel at ease. Her friendly smile and personality attributes to this gift and is not limited to children. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner.

Leah and her husband of 15 years, Zack are raising their two children, Saylor and Zane in Islamorada where they both grew up. She loves to fish in the Abacos, boating, working out and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite part of her job is providing patients the experience of impeccable dental care and making them smile!

Laura joined the practice in 2018 as one of Dr. Britos assistants. She is originally from Colombia but has made Florida her home since she was 8 years old. She attended Robert Morgan Educational/ Vocational Center and graduated as dental assistant in 2011.

After attending Miami- Dade College for her Associates in Arts, she enrolled at FIU and is currently completing her prerequisites for dental school. She has her bachelors in psychology with a minor in chemistry and enjoys being a part of the pre-dental societies.

Laura resides in Homestead, Florida with her partner Mitch and they have a beautiful Belgian Malinois named Cali. She commutes to Tavernier and Key largo during the week and loves the ride down to the keys. During her time away from the office she enjoys anything that involves arts and crafts, spending time with her family and fun outdoor activities.
