Welcome to Sandy Lake Dental & Orthodontics! Were happy to serve the smiles of Coppell, Lewisville, Carrollton, and Irving. Our doctors and our team work hard every day to provide a wide array of services so that we can be the one-stop shop for local families. When you come through our doors, we make sure you dont have to go anywhere else. We are a multi-specialty practice, meaning that whatever treatment you get here, itll probably be performed by an expert in that field. In fact, our doctors frequently collaborate on treatment plans to make sure youre only getting the best at all times.

Kristy has been a part of our team for more than a decade. She has worked in dentistry since 1995 and has attended countless education programs. She has great knowledge and experience in both General and Pediatric fields and is also CPR certified. Her experience makes patients feel comfortable about their dental needs. She enjoys spending time with Sandy Lake Dental's great patients. Best of all, she enjoys her work family!

Kristy is originally from Huntington Beach, California. She is married with two children and loves spending time with her two little grandbabies. Family and friends are a big part of her life. When she has free time, she loves traveling, shopping, cooking, and movies. She's also a big fan of interior decorating.

Mark has been working in dentistry for over 20 years now, first joining our team almost 15 years ago. Originally from Burleson, he achieved his BA from the University of North Texas at Denton. The best thing about his job is all the wonderful people he works with.

Mark has a big, loving family that shares lots of laughter. Outside of the office, he enjoys doing anything outside, gardening, and watching movies. He actually grew up as a missionarys kid and lived in both Mexico and Puerto Rico as a kid. In fact, he went to high school in Venezuela as an exchange student for his senior year!

Kim is a 2004 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and has been with us since Spring 2011. Her calming personality helps put our patients at ease in the office and on the phone. She truly enjoys helping patients achieve their best smiles. Kim has three little boys who keep her and her husband very busy. In her free time she enjoys attending her kids sporting events, hanging out on the back porch and traveling. The three great loves in her life are God, friends, and family.

Shawyn is one of our front desk coordinators and has been in the dental field for over 13 years. She loves making our patients feel like family while helpingwthem achieve a healthy smile. She is the mother of 2 daughters, Alex, 28 years old and Peyton, 22 years old. She also has 2 grandsons, Henley, 8 and Luca 5, and lets not forget her beloved French bulldog, Munchie. When she isn't working, she enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, live music and good food shared with good friends and family.

Laci has been a hygienist with our practice since 2006. She provides preventive treatments, patient education, dental cleanings, and she helps build patient relationships. Laci has a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Texas Women's University. She enjoys interacting with patients and values our close-knit staff. She is the proud mother of 4 amazing little boys. Outside of dentistry, Laci's interests include spending time with her family, visiting with friends and extended family, attending church, staying active and traveling. She can also be found on the sidelines cheering for her boys in their sports activities.

Nicole has been working in dentistry for 12 years and counting, and joined our team almost nine years ago. Originally from Richland, WA, she received her education from Eastern Washington University and is certified in CPR as well. She loves building personal relationships with her patients!

Nicole has two daughters and two sons. Outside of the office, she enjoys watching her kids play sports, going on bike rides with family, and reading. Shes also a college basketball and Seahawks fanatic.

Danielle is from Mount Airy, MD and is loving becoming a Texan. She received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene, from West Virginia University, in 2008. She has over 15 years of dedicated career progression in the dental field, including nine years as a registered dental hygienist. She loves making a positive impact onour patients byimproving their oral health whilemaintaining a comfortable environment. Danielle and her husband have a young daughter, Adalyn and German Shepard, Stryker. Outside of work Danielle loves to spend time with her family, traveling and attending concerts.

Giorgia hails from Gainesville, and she joined the practice seven years ago. Today, she has eight years of overall dental world experience and counting! She received her education in the field from the Dental Replacement Training Academy, and she is well-trained in CPR, radiology, and jurisprudence. What she enjoys most about her position is meeting new patients and performing a wide variety of procedures. She loves experiencing something new every day!

Natasha is one of the most recent additions to our team, and she fits right in! Natasha constantly keeps us laughing with her witty comments and she loves the new friendships she has made with our staff and patients. She has been a dental assistant for 4 years. Natasha is married and has 3 boys, including a set of twins. In her spare time she likes to cook, go to the movies, and spend time with her family.
