As a dentist, I hold myself to the highest ideals, as represented in the above quote. Each of my patients deserves quality dentistry, and that requires me to constantly challenge myself as I approach each persons unique dental needs and personal desires.
It is important I listen to each patient in order to learn what they want and need. Developing open communication, starting with the first visit and nurturing it with every encounter, helps me better serve my patients and reassures them that I care.
Personally, I appreciate this opportunity to get to know people beyond their dental health and enjoy all that our conversations teach me about the world. The stories my patients share, and how they invite me to be part of their life and their family, make me a better dentist and person.
Since completing my dental degree, I have actively sought out opportunities to further enhance my knowledge and skills. Dentistry is a constantly changing field, and I enjoy learning the latest innovations in technology, materials, and methodologies.
As a member of the American and Utah dental associations, I have access to numerous avenues to learn from leaders in the field, as well as my peers. I regularly participate in workshops and study groups, and attend hands-on classes, meetings, and seminars, learning about new concepts, practices, and trends. Carefully evaluating the latest options, I incorporate those that are proven to improve results, as well the as patient experience, into the practice.
I grew up in Salt Lake City and am happy to provide quality, personalized dental care for a community I know and love. That community includes underserved children, refugees, and the elderly; it is an honor to provide donated dental services to these populations through Heyes Hope Clinic.
When I leave the office in the evening its to return home to spend time with my family. My wife Jenn and I have been married for over 20 years and we have four amazing kids: Kate, Porter, Brandon, and Macy. Our family includes Berkley, our young Goldendoodle, too.
I enjoy keeping active and making the most of local opportunities for camping, hiking, boating, and skiing. Basketball, football, tennis, golf, and scouting are some of my other interests, along with charity work.
I have been married for over five years and am pregnant with my first baby, a little girl due in February of 2022. My husband is in dental school, so we are all about the dental life! Im in school, too, and have another year of classes through BYU to finish my degree in Business Administration. My husband and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, trying new and fun restaurants, playing board games, going on road trips, and playing sports together.
Hi and welcome to Sandy Dental Center! My name is Rey and Im one of Dr. LaFebers dental assistants. I setup rooms for treatment, making sure everything is sterilized and prepared for the procedure, and then break down the room when everything is finished. I also offer customer care, track and order supplies, and help keep everything moving smoothly so we stay on schedule. I love seeing patient transformations, working with a compassionate and amazing team, and working with my hands. This is a very friendly and caring office, and I know youll feel at home here!

Welcome to our practice! I was fortunate to join Dr. LaFebers office in 2014 after graduating from UVU with my dental hygiene degree. I have a passion for helping patients achieve outstanding oral health, whether Im doing a simple cleaning and exam or providing oral hygiene education. I love what I do, especially because I get to do it with such an amazing team!
Welcome to Sandy Center! Im one of our hygienists, so I get to spend my days making teeth clean and pretty! I began my dental career in 2008 as a dental assistant, but furthered my education so I could work one-on-one with patients to improve their oral health. We have great patients here, and I love making a difference in their smiles.

My husband had his first appointment today. He has a very interesting dental history. Dr Lafeber and his staff were very friendly, very professional and listened to our concerns. I had indicated when I made the appointment that we were interested in new dentures (not implants). They were actually prepared to start the procedures today. I was very, very happy with our experience.

I am a stalker... of great dentistry! I met Dr. Nicholas LaFeber whilst he had a Herriman practice, and am now happy to make the drive to Sandy, to receive treatment from him and his friendly, skilled, quality-committed team. Dr. LaFeber stands by his work and is always so very pleasant to be around. A+! I was just over at the facility, and decided to snap myself in front of their sign. This dental office is a good place to go because everyone is very kind and professional taking care the patient. Also they asked patient health condition and gave more knowledge and information to take care the teeth better. They do not try to sell you more stuff as you need and let you to compare the price too. I will go back to clean my teeth again.

After suffering 3 or 4 days with a screaming toothache Dr. LaFeber was able to see me right away and within a few hours of the call for an appointment. His skill as a dentist were obvious as he quickly diagnosed and solved the problem. His staff is as professional, warm and conscientious as Dr. LaFeber. I can't say enough good about Dr. LaFeber and this amazing dental practice.

Dr. Lafeber has been nothing but helpful to my family. My dad had a dental emergency and Dr. Lafeber made every effort to help my dad with his dental emergency on his day off. This goes to show how caring and compassionate he is towards his patients. My family and I have been coming to this practice for around 5 years now and they have proven to us that they go the extra mile to provide good quality care to their patients.

Dr. LaFeber has done an excellent job on my teeth since joining his practice last year. He has a very likable personality and is an exercise dentist on ever level. The doctor is absolutely wonderful. I have never been as comfortable as I am with a dentist as I am with the dentists here. They are fast, efficient and all around wonderful. The rest of the staff -especially Emily- have been absolutely amazing. I have had nothing but good things to say about everyone here.
