Nicole Balthazar graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1998. She completed a general practice residency at Berkshire Medical Center, served as clinical faculty at NYU Lutheran Dental Medicine Program, and is in private practice in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
Dr. Balthazar joined the faculty at Cape Cod Community College as an adjunct in 2000, and teaches in the Pain Management/local anesthesia lab. She also teaches in the clinical portion of the Cape Cod Community College local anesthesia course for graduate hygienists. Dr. Balthazar is a member of ADA, MDS, and Cape Cod District Dental Society.
She loves working with people and works hard to make sure her patients have the best possible experience possible in her chair. She has worked in both general dentistry and pediatric dentistry and has been a part of the staff here at Sandwich Dental Associates for three years. She is a resident of Sandwich and loves working with the people and families in her community.
When not at work, Jo-Anne loves spending time with her family. She also sings and plays with the band at her church. She can also be seen singing locally from time to time. She also writes and produces her own music, and has been known to write ridiculous dental parodies. She might even sing for you. If you ask nicely.
Cassie grew up in Plymouth and currently still resides there. She graduated in 2019 with her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene and in 2020 with her Bachelors in Health Sciences. She is also an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
In her spare time, Cassie enjoys cooking, fishing, and going on walks with her dogs. She is happy to work in a positive environment with a team where everyone works together and our patients are our top priority.
Kellie grew up in Easton MA and moved to Cape Cod in 1996. She graduated from Johnson & Wales and had a 25-year career as a Pastry Chef and bakery owner. She attended CCCC to pursue a business administration career and was excited to join SDA in August 2020 at the front desk!
Jennifer Grace brings many years of experience in insurance and patient financing to Sandwich Dental Associates. She is ready to help all patients achieve optimum oral health. She has recently relocated to the Upper Cape from Boston but originally hails from the Mid-West. In Jennifers free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, including her cats.
Christa has arrived on Cape Cod as part of our cherished military family community. Christa has her Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Towson University and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. She is a firm believer in delivering a total oral wellness program to her patients. In Christas free time she enjoys exploring the wonders of the world with her husband and three busy little sons.

Its A puppy mill. Seems turnover is priority here,. The second I walk in, it was rush rush rush..i wouldnt go here and id be wary of recommending auch a place.

Very professional. Taking care of my teeth is getting to be more expensive, unfortunately, but they have suggested a few alternatives to help keep the costs down. Today, I had a filling replaced. Novocaine and everything. On the whole, it was not a bad experience.

They do not care about the patients, its all about the numbers and money!! My dentist joined this group and we were immediately treated like strangers, she has lost patient/ doctor relationship and now feels commercial. I switched my family to a different practice , and they made me feel like I've bin with them for years ,Vs my dentist which I was with for years but they made me feel like it was my first visit!

Sandwich Dental is operating with every cautionary action in place that could be. The exam rooms are extremely clean and void of anything unnecessary, which is how it should be during this time of COVID. The lobby is also clean and appropriately spaced out for clients to be able to sit and wait at a safe distance.
