FinancialWe will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. We are currently in network with Delta, Cigna and Aetna. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, any major credit card or Care Credit. Payments and co-payments are due at the time of procedure.

Dr. Connors is proud to offer military appreciation reduced fees. As a veteran himself, he understands how many sacrifices Sailors, Soldiers, Airman, Marines and their families make. Dr. Connors offers 10% fee reduction for out-of-network or a 5% fee reduction for in-network current or former service members.This discount can not be combined with care credit.

Dr. Connors is a Board Certified Periodontist. This means he has gone above and beyond the American Dental Association (ADA) requirements for education. He has multiple degrees including a Bachelors, Doctorate, Masters and Certificates.

Dr. Connors graduated from Ohio University in 2003 with a degree in chemistry and biology. At Ohio U he met his wife, Bri, and followed his future wife to Lakewood after graduating. Bri, an elementary school teacher, grew up on the West Side of Cleveland and their family has deep Irish roots extending generations. Dr. Connors immediately loved the area and the people. He knew that one day his family would eventually settle in Cleveland and he would serve the community. Dr. Connors graduated from Rutgers Dental School in 2008, in the top of his class and was awarded a Navy scholarship. He always felt the need to serve his country and served active duty Navy for 8 years. During his service with the Navy, he completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) and shortly after deployed on the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), an aircraft carrier, during operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned multiple service awards including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) and Commendation Medal (COM). After his deployment, Dr. Connors was selected for the highly competitive periodontal residency program in Bethesda, MD. He graduated from Navy Postgraduate Dental School in July of 2013. He was then stationed at Navy Air Station North Island in Coronado, CA. While treating the brave men and women of the armed forces in CA, he served as a mentor; teaching residents, lecturing extensively at continuing education courses and published a research article in a highly reputable international dental journal. He was the first in the country to use dental 3D x-ray technology to laser print a dental medical device. Dr. Connors is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (ABP), an achievement that less than half of periodontist obtain. Dr. Connors is also a diplomate and fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI) in addition to being a member of the AAP, ADA and OKU. Dr. Connors is passionate about periodontics and improving patients health and overall well-being. He is fascinated how periodontics incorporates all facets of dentistry and medicine. He incorporates advances technology into his practice to improve patients clinical outcomes. He believes good overall health includes maintaining ones oral health and controlling stress levels. In fact, Dr. Connors wrote his masters thesis on how stress effects wound healing. Dr. Connors is a proud father of 4 children. When he is not working with patients you can find him coaching youth teams or enjoying all that Cleveland has to offer. He loves Cleveland sports and can talk football and baseball all day. Dr. Connors still serves honorably in the Navy reserves and enjoys supporting the local community.

Cayle is new to the dental field and started with Dr. Connors in 2018. Shewas born inElyriathen spent sometime out west in the golden state and Hawaii. She missed the warm Ohio winters and returned when she was in high school! She spends her free time with her wonderful son. She loves being outside and listening to music.

Liz is an all-star assistant. She has been working in the dental field for 5 years and with Dr. Connors since 2017. Liz is from Elyria and spent some time in Japan and North Carolina. She also missed the warm Ohio winters and returned in 2016. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets. Her favorite things are to watch and discuss animal documentaries.

Shelia reins from Vermilion.She has been married for 21 years andhas 2 wonderful kids. She started her dental career as an assistant, she then graduated from Tri C with her RDH degree in 1997. She has been with Westshore Periodontics since 2017. In her free time she enjoys gardening, vino and vacationing. She looks forward to helping you improve your health.
