Dr. Paul R. Sandstrom was born and raised in Orem, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University for one year, where he met his future wife, Heather. After they were married, Dr. Sandstrom transferred to the University of Oregon where he graduated with a Bachelor of Art in General Science. He continued his education at Boston Universitys Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry. While attending Boston University, he received the prestigious Dental Care Management Award in approach to the delivery of Dental Health Care. He has received advanced training in dental implant placement and restoration, smile design, cosmetic dentistry and six months braces. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Sandstrom has served on the Banner Baywood Hospitals Board of Directors and Development and served as the Chairman for the Banner Health Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament, which raised money for on-site primary health care clinics for children who lack insurance and access to regular care.
Dr. Sandstrom and his wife were married in the Latter Day Saints Salt Lake City Temple in 1980. They have five children; Erica, Ryan, Alexis, Walker and Ashlyn, and eight grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Sandstrom loves to golf and both he and his wife enjoy tennis, snow/water skiing and going to the beach or mountains with their family. They have hosted many presidential, congressional, gubernatorial and mayoral fundraising events. Together, they understand the value and obligation of being actively involved in their community and their church.

Sandstrom dental took care of me very well. I had put off taking care of a busted tooth and my dental work for awhile. The dentist took the time to conduct a thorough exam of everything wrong and gave the options of fixing everything. After a few visits and some pain endurance later everything was fixed. I'm very thankful for sandstrom dental and all the staff there. They did an excellent job taking care of not only me but my daughter as well. I highly recommend this dentist office for your future needs.

I have been a regular patient for years and used to love going to see Dr. Sandstrom, but the new dentist wasn't friendly and can't seem to help making snide remarks. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

I stopped in to ask about repairs on my denture and they were able to complete the repair while I waited at the office. Very nice of them to do that the same day..
