Sandra Shambarger is from Allen, TX. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2000. She graduated from The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, TX in 2005. It was in dental school that she met her husband James. She practiced General Dentistry for two years in Houston, TX. It was in private practice that she realized her passion for endodontics. She attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where she obtained her endodontic training.She and her husband returned to Texarkana to be closer to family and to serve in their community.
Sandra enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Grace.She enjoys traveling and attending football games with her husband.James and Sandra love to snow ski and look forward to exploring different mountains each year.

I was told I needed 5 root canals that were to be repaired with fillings afterwards. I was convinced to seek a second opinion elsewhere. The second endodontist informed me that 3 of the teeth only needed fillings (no where near needing root canals) and the other two did need root canals, but at the state they were in, the endodontist admitted that he did not believe a root canal would last long due to the lack of stability. Sandra was just going to do 5 root canals, 3 of which weren't needed, and 2 that would have been pointless because these teeth are too far gone and need to be pulled.

Just wanted to say thank you soooo much Dr. Shambarger for going way out of your way to help me, with my aftercare of a root canal retreatment. She's friendly, kind and caring! Excellent at what she does.

My 9 year old daughter enjoyed her experience and had no pain during or after her root canal. 100% recommend Sandra and her team. She makes you feel comfortable and answered all of my daughters questions.

Absolutely adore Dr. Shambarger. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a root canal. I have had my fair share of root canals and she does the BEST job. She answers all of my questions thoroughly and cares about her patients. A ++++
