After taking some time to learn about the American culture, Dr. Brener decided it was time to go back to her first love: dentistry. She applied for a teaching position at the prestigious Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. She has been teaching pediatric dentistry since she finished her Masters Degree, first at the University of Buenos Aires, then at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Brener completed her Masters in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Buenos Aires in 1996. In 2008, she graduated from an Accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at Nova Southeastern University. During this time, Dr. Brener provided specialized treatments for patients at Miami Childrens Hospital, Broward General Medical Center, Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital and NSU Dental Clinics. This dual training forms her unique approach to dentistry, which is very conservative and non-aggressive in regards to behavior management techniques.
Dr. Breners research studies have been awarded by Healthy Smiles Healthy Children Foundation and by Nova Southeastern University, and she has been honored to present her studies at national and international conferences. Dr. Breners most recent publication was featured in one of the most prestigious dental journals, the Journal of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Brener successfully completed the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry certification process and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Brener is thoroughly trained and certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and CPR. She and her team are committed to providing their patients with the safest care possible. Besides Dentistry, Dr Brener is passionate about healthy nutrition and an active lifestyle and she will make sure to promote those at every visit.
Driving Directions to Sandra Brener & Associates Our pediatric dental office is located on Stirling Rd between Palm Ave (100th Ave or Nob Hill Rd) and Pine Island Rd directly across the street from the Cooper City High School track. We are just east of the Cooper City Sports Complex which is located at Stirling Road at SW 100th Avenue.We are at the two story building at the back in the Stirling Office Park complex.
