Dr. Monique Leon earned her DMD degree in 2003 from NOVA Southeastern University. Her desire to be the best dentist possible for her patients and her passion for learning have led her to expand her knowledge in dentistry by participating in some of the most prestigious continuing education courses in the country. Not only is she a General Dentist for people of all ages, but she also now is certified in Orthodontics.
Dr. Leon is a member of the ADA, NMDA, AOS and The Treasurer for the Albuquerque District Dentist Society. Her goal is to help her patients prevent disease, when present, and to deliver minimally invasive treatment in a friendly and caring environment.
Jennifer Nguyen, one of Dr. Leons Dental Hygienists, was raised in Albuquerque, NM. She graduated from the University of New Mexico as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She loves educating her patients about their dental health and is always learning about newer procedures and equipment and how to be able to utilize them with her patients. She is an extremely thorough and gentle hygienist and our patients love her.
Gina Mitchell, Dr. Leons Office Manager, was raised here in Albuquerque, NM. She has been a part of this incredible team for over seven years now. She has an extensive background in business management as well as marketing and advertising. She enjoys the group of fantastic women she works with as well as their amazing patients.
Morgan was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She has been a fantastic addition to our office and our staff as well as our patients enjoy her sweet and funny personality. She is a recent graduate of Pima Medical Institute and is Dr. Leons assistant. She is very knowledgeable in all areas of the office as awll.. She enjoys the connections with our patients and the steady pace of the office. In her free time, Morgan enjoys listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys taking long naps with her dog, Letti.

Whoever runs their billing department is either incompetent or they intentionally scam their patients. On multiple occasions, I've received bills for unspecified services, only stating "balance forward," saying it is past due. Every time I've gone there, I've paid in full and paid whatever past due balance they've said I owe. This bill is going in the trash and I'll find a new dentist.

If I could give zero stars I would. No communication- twice when I brought my kids in for an appt, the dentist wasn't there! They told me I had to bring my three kids another time to get their teeth checked. I also made an appt to get a filling and when I arrived, they did not have my appt written down. They are incredibly disorganized! Avoid!!

I love everyone here. They have the best assistants, the friendliest people at the front desk and Dr. Leon is hands down amazing. I'm going to be so sad when we move!

Great people, super clean office. Dr Lee has provided me with caps and my grandchildren with braces. Always the highest quality work. I can highly recommend them.

This place will rob you if you let them! They find ways every time to scheme my wife into thinking she need some kind of "deep cleaning" just to scam us out of extra money. We have lived all over the US and she has always been told her teeth are in great shape and suddenly they need extra work. For two years straight they did this to her and as soon as she went somewhere else they didn't try this BS method to get extra $ out of her. They always tried to send us extra bills and not even tell her we owed anything before she left for her visit. This place sketch and I would not recommend them.

I called 4 different times to attempt to make a first appointment due to the great recommendations from my community. The first and second time someone answered and took down my information so they could call me back because they were busy when I called. No one ever called me back. The 3rd and 4th time no one answered (during business hours) and I left a voicemail with my name and number (per their request). No one called me back. I've given up.

Don't go here unless you enjoy incompetence. Scheduled my appointment back in January. Show up today 30 minutes early and there is a sign on the desk saying they are at lunch. Front desk lady finally shows up, never acknowledges me sitting there. I go up and ask to check in and I'm told I'm not on the schedule. I tell her that I scheduled the appointment in January and she says to wait a moment. She then tells me that I canceled the appointment. I tell her no I did not, and she says "well you're in the cancelled pile and unfortunately we don't have anything available today or for the next 2 months." Why am I being punished for your mistake? Why didn't they rectify this. Terrible business practice.

This office is in a great area. There's plenty of parking available. Very clean, well kept, friendly staff. I was really impressed with the quality of work, patient care, and customer service. Lauren did such a great job cleaning my teeth & she was very considerate of the negative experiences I've had in the past with other dental offices. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Excellent customer service and friendly staff. The dental hygienist(K) who worked with me did such an excellent job I forgot how 'scary' an experience it used to be for me going to the dentist! Highly recommended.

I recently visited Sandia Heights Dental for the first time, and the whole experience was as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. My wait was short and the preliminary (new-patient) screening was relatively quick as well. The hygienist Lauren was fantastic, very efficient without hurting me once - tricky, for a patient with super-sensitive teeth. Both she and Dr. Lee provided me with helpful tips and recommendations. Dr. Lee is warm, professional, more knowledgeable than any dentist I've been to (quite a few), and seems to easily put herself in the patient's shoes. For once I'm not dreading my next trip to the dentist!

I am extremely impressed with the quality of customer service here. Dr. Lee is professional, highly skilled and innovative. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. Facility is updated and modern technology used.
