Dr Sarah Kassam graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Cum Laude, from the highly ranked University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 2000. With over 19 years of experience in public and private settings, Dr Kassam is confident in her general dentistry skills. She is a third generation health care provider in her family; taking care of her patients comes naturally. Dr Kassam is well-regarded for her gentle chair-side manner. She has been awarded Top Dentists by Albuquerque the Magazine for the past 3 years in a row. In her free time, Dr. Kassam enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and travelling.
Dr. Kyle T Lantz is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, class of 2018. While in dental school he was heavily involved with both the American Student Dental Association, serving in multiple positions at the national level. He enjoys staying involved and is an active member in the Academy of General Dentistry and NM Dental Association.
A New Mexican at heart, Dr. Lantz attended and played basketball for the Greyhounds of ENMU, graduating in 2014. He remains active by playing golf, biking, skiing and plenty of travelling. One of his goals is to visit all 50 states, of which he is currently 66% complete!
Having had many years of braces, a dental implant, and a few fillings myself, I know how stressful a visit to the dentist can be. My goal is to make your visit as comfortable and informative as possible because I want patients to be happy and healthy. I am excited to begin treating patients alongside this great team at Sandia Dental Care!
Demetra grew up in Los Alamos, NM. She earned her bachelors at the University of New Mexico, graduating with cum laude honors. She is passionate about preventative dentistry and enjoys helping patients achieve a healthy smile.
Monique grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has worked as a dental assistant for over 10 years She loves helping people and it shows in her dedication to her work. Monique believes everyone deserves to smile! Monique is currently our new office manager and always has a friendly smile!
Jessica was born and raised in Albuquerque. She has been in the dental field for 19 years, starting off as a receptionist. She then trained to become a dental assistant and completed her dental hygiene degree shortly thereafter. Jessica enjoys making people smile and spending time with her family.

Update: Still giving them 5 stars. I've been going to Sandia Dental for a couple of years now and just has happy as ever. Original post: So far, I have had a cleaning and exam, and also a filling. I can attest that the dental hygienist (Jessica) does a great job, and that Dr Kassam's work is really impeccable. There is an air of confidence shared by Dr Kassam and staff that I find very calming and reassuring. I have to say I'm very pleased.

The entire staff is professional, welcoming, and friendly. I was able to get in, get my treatment and care, and was able to get back to work! They are effective and efficient and were so courteous. Dr. Kassam was very informative about the process and requiremnts for my sure smile aligner system. I highly recommend

A difficult task..installing a denture for back teeth! Finally she got it honed down so no places stick out, but I feel very uncomfortable with this denture..and can't chew on let side as it i too sore underneath! Not happy with result of installation.Champayane was really experienced and gentle.Progress was made.!thank you.!

So watch out!! They gave me an estimate and when I went to pay the bill the added an extra 722.00 dollars and they said it was something the forgot to tell me. The Big thing is they did additional work without any consent. They said they would fix it and they changed their mind this place is a joke. Will not go back ever!!! Do not recommend at all.

The entire team here is absolutely phenomenal. Empathetic, understanding, and passionate about doing their jobs well and with care. My fiance and I have both come here for a variety of dental work over the past year and nothing has changed. Quality care every time.

Dr. Kassam and her team have been exceptionally accommodating to me as I live near Taos, NM. They are willing to fit me in to support my out-of-area emergency dental needs; I am extremely thankful to their professionalism, kindness, and upstanding dental care. I could easily go to a dentist in Taos or nearby community. Yet, it's this unwavering excellence that keeps me making the trek to Albuquerque to receive exemplary service and care.

If you know one thing about us New Mexicans we are loyal to a fault. So after a childhood friend and my dentist retired, I had to find a new dentist. It might have taken me 18 months, but I can't tell you how relieved I am to find one of Albuquerque's best! Dr. Sarah Kassam and her staff lived up to everything my wife told me. Yes, she is now our family dentist. Besides being a great dentist, she's a great mom, a great wife, and just an all-around great person. Why I know her outstanding staff loves to work with her. I can't recommend her more if you're looking for one of New Mexico's best!
