Best. Dentist. Ever. Sandhills Family Dental made me feel welcome, appreciated, and comfortable. The entire staff seem to enjoy their jobs, have great attitudes and work as a team. In the past, I have had horrific dental experiences and dread going to the dentist for any reason. At my first appointment the hygienist was super friendly and understanding. Instead of lecturing and talking down to me (how I've felt at every visit elsewhere), she eased my overwhelming anxiety and helped me make a plan to take better care of my teeth. She explained each step along the way and also explained the costs and membership program. I left feeling relieved and actually looking forward to coming back. At my next visit, when I had to be fitted for a crown, the assistant and dentist were both kind and very friendly. The whole procedure was a breeze - and I don't say that lightly. It's only been a couple hours and my mouth feels great - in the past it has taken weeks to stop hurting. I can't say enough good things about Sandhills Family Dental, but I'll sum it up like this: YOU ROCK! Thank you for taking the fear out of dentistry. I'll never go anywhere else.

We love it at Sandhills Family Dental (as much as anyone can love going to the dentist). The staff is genuinely concerned with our family and their state-of-the-art dentistry equipment makes the visits so much easier.

I cannot sing enough praise to this wonderful group of people. Dr.'s Adam and Kelly are 2 of the most admirable young professionals I have had the privilege of knowing. Always so gentle and making certain the dental visit is as painless and comfortable as possible. Cannot overlook the wonderful chair-side assistants and office staff who are incredible in a setting that makes you feel so "at ease". So blessed to have this incredible team of professionals in our community!

I established care at this office back in 2014. I also established care here for my 8 year old and 6 year old sons. I went to make an appointment and was told that myself and my son were dropped due to not scheduling a cleaning 6 months ago. I was in shock! Since when has this been the case? No one would answer my question. I was told I have to pay for the first visit to continue to be seen as a medicaid patient. My response was "That's a punishment" in which the receptionist was eager to correct me. It is a form of punishment. I was NEVER informed of this new policy. I feel this office is intentionally abandoning care for myself and my children because we are on medicaid. This is social economic DISCRIMINATION. This isn't the first time I have dealt with and felt belittled by this office on several occasions but dealt with it because it is the only office in town that accepts medicaid. It is very unfortunate that most of the people who work at this office are my neighbors. FYI-It is abandonment because this office is well aware of the extremely limited options for dental care within a 200 mile radius of our town. This clinic also failed to properly diagnose myself and actually withheld imperative information and proper education! They purposefully withheld diagnosis.

Sandhills Family Dental deserves 5 stars+ ! I would call myself a 'high maintenance" patient, due to a very horrible dental visit with a different provider years ago. I hadn't been to the dentist for a while and was very leery of yet another provider. I had known Dr Adam outside of dentistry and he and his family are wonderful people. So in talking with him, telling him my hesitations and anxiety related to dental visits, he reassured me that he and his team would take great care of me. I have had many cleanings, procedures and corrections to previous dental work since my first visit. As a 40 year old, mother of 2, its rather embarrassing that I still get nervous, still cry because I'm scared, still need extra 'medication' to calm my nerves or get the occasional nauseous tummy......... They are nothing but caring, respectful and attentive. They make you feel like they only one in their office. Any need you may have that will make your experience better, is their first priority! I can 100% attest to that! If you are nervous, if you are scared, if you have had a bad experience in the past, Sandhills Family Dental is the place to go! You will slowly get back to not being so scared! Thanks to Dr Adam & Dr Kelly, they have me on track to not being such a hot mess when I go to the dentist anymore! Thank you for providing such a great staff and great services to the Sandhills of Nebraska!

Feb. 14 2022, Another great dental cleaning with Ashley. She is great! Dr. Adam and I discussed the impact of the cpap machine on mouth/teeth. He is very personable and has a great sense of humor I appreciate. Thanks for a great experience. Feb 2, 2021: Had my semi-annual dental cleaning today with Ashley. I have mentioned before that having the same hygienist makes these cleaning appointments comfortable and stress free. I have had some bad dental experiences in my early life so stress free is a big deal for me. I also appreciate the information from Dr. Kelly regarding my sleep apnea issues and my discomfort with the cpap. Thanks for the information. It is greatly appreciated! Along with all the other great things about Sandhills Family Dental, is the fact that I always get to see the same hygienist! We have developed a great rapport and enjoy talking about what's up in life! AND she always remembers that I love purple! Last night I had a molar fall apart when I was eating. Got in at 2 pm today, got a temporary cap and am on the way to having the permanent cap in three weeks. Thanks for getting me in so promptly. Dr. Kelly did a great job of fixing what I thought could not be fixed.

My appointment with Dr. Kelly was absolutely 100% top-notch! I can not say enough about the great care I received & her professionalism. The office staff is also very respectful & professional. I would give Sandhills Family Dental 10*'s if that was an option. Highly recommend

My daughter had her first appointment. Jen the hygienist was so fun to work with. She let her play with some of tools trying to help her feel comfortable. Showing her how they would use them on a fake set of teeth. Jen used fun terms with her, like telling her she will paint her teeth with a small paint brush. Which she thought would be fun! We highly recommend Sandhills Family Dental...they have a great staff!

I hadn't been to the dentist for 2 years because of COVID and trying to get into the incredibly busy dental offices. Mullen is only 45 minutes from me and I appreciated have such a quality dentist in a rural setting that understands ranchers and their schedule. LaTasha did an amazing job and was very thorough in my cleaning and x-ray exam. The doctor spent quality time with me and we discussed some possible dental work in the future. Thanks for a good experience!
