Dr. Brian Sanders is a Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He serves as the Director of the Dental Department at Riley Hospital for Children and the Residency Program Director of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition to teaching, Dr. Sanders maintains a private practice on the north side of Indianapolis. He has published articles in numerous publications and has a special interest in children with special needs.
Dr. Molly lives in Westfield, Indiana. She graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following college, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. During her time in dental school, she received awards for her involvement in research, prosthodontics, and passion for pediatric dentistry.
She pursued additional dental education at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University where she obtained her certificate in pediatric dentistry and Master of Science in Dentistry Degree. During her time in residency, she was selected as one of IUPUIs Elite 50, which was awarded to 50 graduate and professional students who demonstrated excellence in campus leadership, scholarly work, research, and community engagement. Her research focused on the effect of titanium dioxide on Streptococcus mutans biofilm. She received awards for her novel research, including the Arthur I. Klein Pediatric Dentistry Research Initiative Award, and was involved in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program.
In her free time, Dr. Molly enjoys traveling, reading, watching old movies, exercising, and staying active. She looks forward to sharing her love of Disney (you should see her Minnie Mouse ear collection), as well as building long-lasting and meaningful relationships with her patients.
