For me, orthodontics isnt just a jobits a way for me to help others.There is nothing more powerful than a smile in making a first impression and having an impact on other people.I am helping people to gain self-esteem, usually at a time in their lives when it is so critical. What my patients do in their teen years can have a significantimpact on the rest of their lives, and I am proud to help them gain a positive start.

I also love the variety of my patients lives and activities. They really keep me in touch with the culture as a whole when Isee all the things that they are doing and what is important to them. It helps me to stay young and feel vibrant by interacting withmy patients.

I think that its important to be aware of all the new technology and innovations that are constantly coming into the field. It allows me to evaluate what new technology may be worthwhile to incorporate into our practice while keeping a balance with our current tried-and-true technology. I attend the AmericanAssociation of Orthodontistsannual meeting almost every year and attend local meetings as well. Our state licensure requires 35 hours of continuing educationevery two years, and I make it my mission always to exceed that amount.

I grew up in Morgantown and am happy to practice orthodontics in my hometown. Ive been happily married to the most wonderful woman in the world for more than 25 years. She is a hands-on surgical nurse. Although we havent been blessed with children of our own, we have many friends and relatives who have let us love their kids and be involved in their lives.

My wife Kim and I enjoy a variety of activities outside of work, though there never seems to be enough time in the day for them all. I get excited when WVU football season comes around; we love the crispness of fall and the absolute beauty of the changing leaves. We love the fresh fallen snow in the winter, andwe get excited in the spring and summer for outdoor activities, including golfing, biking, and fun with friends.

Leading a Christian lifestyle encompasses everything that my wife and I do. We try to live a life directed by God, which guides our involvement with others through service, love, and care. I hope to share the love that He has shown to me with all those around me. Kim and I are involved at our church, Christian &Missionary Alliance, and over the years have been active in the choir andpraise team, and have served on leadership boards. We also support a variety of charitable organizations that provide services for those in need all around the world.

My orthodontic career began in 2001 when I joined Dr. Sanders and the rest of the team at Sanders Orthodontics. I am responsible for all aspects of patient care, from doing lab work and taking impressions to placing and removing brackets. Of course, seeing a beautiful smile at the end of a patients treatment is the very best part of my job! I have a niece whos a young teenand a nephew thats a toddler. I am really excited for the newest addition to the family:a nephew due to arrive in early winter. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, and hanging out with my friends and lazy dog Blue.

I started working in this office in 1997and brought with me 22 years of experience working in the dental field. I take care of all aspects of orthodontic assisting, including greeting and seating patients, helping with their care, placing braces, and seeing the great smiles at the end of treatment. I enjoy meeting new people and I love working with all of my co-workers. Most of all, I love the smiles that I see when patients complete treatment and they look in the mirror for the very first time!

Ive been married to my husbandDonfor 47 years and we have two children. Our daughter Tracey is married to Brian and they have two children, Kylie and Hayden. Our son Travis is married to MaryAnne and they have two children, Jackson and Bailey. I cant forget our dog, Lillie!

Growing up, I always wanted to be an LPN because I knew that I wanted to help others. But after an internship at a dental office during my senior year of high school, I knew for sure that I wanted to help others with their smiles. I attended OIC Training Academy and became a NRDA, and joined the team at Sanders Orthodontics in 2015. Now, I not only get to help people be healthier, I also get to help them be more confident with their smiles!

I enjoy meeting new patients and getting to know all about them. Its a joy to watch them grow and accomplish a beautiful smile, along with the confidence it brings. I assist Dr. Sanders with clinical procedures, including adjustments, placement of appliances, and de-bonding. I love the de-bonding and seeing a patient experience anew smile for the first time! My most important duty is making braces fun for our patients and getting them to smile during visits.

I am married to my wonderful husband Darron, and have two beautiful children, Rylan and Michaelan. We enjoy baseball and soccer, riding our side-by-sides and dirt bikes, and spending time on the farm. Our cows are our second kids!

I began working in the dental field in a general dental office 1986 and was happy to join the Sanders Orthodontics team in 1994. I handle just about everything in the front office, from making sure everything runs smoothly to handling all of our patients financials. There are so many aspects of my job that I adore, so its hard to imagine wanting to work anywhere else.
