Dr. Ryan Sanders graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washburn University in 1997 with dual majors in biology and chemistry. In 2001, he graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After working as an associate dentist at offices in Minneapolis, MN, and Lawrence, KS,he purchased his current office from Dr. Don Meyer in February of 2006.
Dr. Sanders stays current following the latest techniques in dentistry by traveling to numerous continuing education courses throughout the country. His continuing education courses have taken him to such far away destinations as New York, Utah, Minnesota and Colorado. He has taken courses in endodontics, crowns, veneers, dentures, and other advances in the dental field. Ryan is a volunteer for the Kansas Mission of Mercy outreach program, which provides dentistry for individuals that would otherwise not be able to have access to dental care.
Dr. Sanders lives in Paola with his wife Ashley, his sons Jonas, Micah, and Kian and his daughter, Bryn.When he is not treating his patients, he coaches his childrens flag football teams, sponsors the chamber of commerce car show, organizes the annual Holy Trinity Parish church auction, sponsors the Border War BBQ event in Osawatomie, and is involved in many other community and charity events and organizations. His hobbies include boating and anything involving a ball; especially college football.

If you live in the Miami County area this is the dentist to go to! I have been known to have anxiety attacks and full meltdowns in a dentist chair. Not at Dr. Sanders's office. They put me at ease and always do an excellent job! You won't be disappointed!

I went in for my 6 month check up, as always they were all friendly. Everyone says hello, my tech was great as well, X-ray and cleaning was good

They were very friendly and got me right in for tooth pain. They x rayed my tooth, examined me and scheduled me in for a root canal in Overland Park the next day at 3:30. Had a cracked tooth, jaw swelling and was in a good deal of pain. They gave me a Rx for a light pain killer. Overnight my condition worsened to very severe pain. I called and was told to take some ibuprofen and sent a Rx for an antibiotic which I took both to little effect. I believe they did not understand to amount of nerve pain I was in. I stuck it out and met with the specialist for the root canal. He recognized the severe swelling and infection. The Specialist wrote a stronger Rx for both the antibiotic and pain killer. I am new to Dr. Sanders but he was highly rated by my friends and family. I do plan to go back to Dr. Sanders for a crown in a couple of weeks and I'll see how they do then.

Great experience! Had to reschedule my appointment and they put me on a cancellation call. I was able to get in the next week. Elizabeth was my hygienist and she was friendly and did a great job.
