Dr. Mike Sanders is a native to Omaha. He attended high school at Millard West High School where he participated in Football, Basketball and Track (hurdles). He then went on to major in biology and chemistry at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Ne. At Midland he was a part of the Men's Basketball team and a member of blue-key honor society. Mike then studied dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medicine College of Dentistry. He was a graduate of the 2014 UNMC class and has been practicing in Omaha since that time.
Dr. Sanders focuses on dentistry for the whole family. He has attended courses all over the country from the nations best educators and spent countless hours continuing to learn new ways to treat your family in a comfortable and predictable manner. A few focus areas of his are dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, emergency dental care and adult orthodontics.
While away from the office, Mike enjoys time with his family. During the warmer months you can find the Sanders out at the lake or maybe even camping. Dr. Sanders has three children Anthony, Aubrey and Addison and he can't wait to tell you all about them.
She enjoys taking her three Aussies to the park for walks and watching them play. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends and boyfriend. During the summer you may find her out on the lake cruising on their boat.
Kate is one of our amazing dental hygienists. She has a very gentle touch and uses her awesome personality to ensure that you have a stress-free cleaning. She is a native of Iowa and has a great passion for continued learning. She works closely with Dr. Sanders' practice philosophy and will treat you like family. You will not regret getting to know Kate!
Mechele started with Sanders Family Dental in 2019. She recently moved from North Platte and brings with her nearly 20 years of dental experience. Mechele is a very friendly, dental hygienist and does an amazing job with all ages.
In her free time, she loves exercising, reading a good book, enjoying warm, sunny weather & being around the people she loves the most. She was born and raised in Bennington and is glad to be back close to home.
A contagious smile is one quality of Jodi that can't be missed. She has a way of even smiling through the phone. Jodi is Sanders Family Dental's office manager and she will help guide you through your care and make sure that all your financial needs are met. She will work wonders to make sure we meet your needs with your schedule too! She is also a dental insurance wiz, which can be the most challenging part of your treatment.
Dr. Tessa Dergan was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Westside high school where she enjoyed playing soccer and performing in show choir. After leaving Omaha for a year, she realized there was no better place than Nebraska, so she came back and graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a biology degree and found her passion for dentistry. She attended Creighton University School of Dentistry where she became a student ambassador, president of the American Association of Women Dentists, and held several leadership roles in the American Student Dental Association. During her senior year, she was accepted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
Dr. Dergan believes in lifelong learning, so she can always practice evidence-based dentistry. She loves to work with all ages, including the kiddos, to provide all aspects of dentistry. Tessa especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry and loves when her patients show off their smiles.
When Dr. Dergan isn't at the office, she is most likely at the gym or taking care of her many plants. She loves to spend time with her wonderful husband, Andrew, who is attending medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical School.
She joined our team in 2021. Jaisa is originally from North Platte, Ne. She enjoys working out and hanging out with friends and traveling. You are sure to see Jaisa with a smile as she has an upbeat attitude and is definitely a patient favorite.
We just know you are going to love Kristen. She joined the team in 2021 and has been nothing but a breath of fresh air every day. This smiling face will be the first person you see when you arrive and you won't forget her.

The age of being afraid of painful dental tortures is gone. Sanders Family Dental is more of a spa for your teeth. Besides extremely professional attitude and care, Mike and every hygienist add extra touches to get to know you personally on every visit. From the smallest things like what channel you like to watch and what polish flavor you dislike, Sanders Family Dental always guides you ahead to assure that your teeth condition maintains to be superior. Absolutely recommend any person to come out and fall in love with Sanders Dental for yourself! Honestly, Google should consider giving 6 star rating for businesses that go above and beyond like Sanders Family Dental. Despite of how many months go buy, the whole team meets you back with a wide (and brilliantly white) smile like you just saw them yesterday.

I've never had a bad experience at Sander's Family Dental! This is hands down the best dental office in the Omaha area. Kate is very gentle and thorough, and Dr Sanders is personable and talented. The office is clean and up-to-date. Everyone who works there is welcoming. If you're looking for a new dentist, this is the way to go!!
