I moved to the area but didn't change my dentist. A filling cracked and needed a dentist. A friend recommended Sand Dollar Dentist. Everyone in the practice was very nice and helpful. They filed my insurance and they did a great job on my root canal. They had my crown ready in two weeks. I would recommend them and I will use them again.

I had the most amazing experience..I went in very nervous and I can tell you that every person I came in contact with from the checking in until I checked out was very friendly and they explained everything to me and I can't wait to go back.

I really struggle with any doctors visit, however i can truly say my biggest stresses come from my dental health and dealing with it. My visit today (1st visit) was as stress free as ive experienced. Felt like it was my 3rd or 4th time there. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Very straight forward and to the point without being degrading or shaming me. Im actually looking forward to going back and getting my dental health back on track. Ive never said that. Thank yall!

I moved here 5 years ago, have tried several dentist and have been disappointed, thought of going home to old dentist but had a problem that needed to be seen about fast! Gave Dr Holly a shot and I have found my place. So satisfied with staff and the experience and the ease of it all! Thank you Sand Dollar!!

The dental team will talk to each other over you, and they will not communicate with you. They will not tell you exactly what is wrong with your teeth, but will instead develop a "treatment plan" without telling you about anything going on with your teeth. They would not even tell me exactly how many issues I had, and definitely did not talk about severity, type, etc instead implying I wouldn't understand or remember. My entire appointment when the dentist came in was a discussion over me, talking about me in 3rd person without ever looking at me. "She has good hygiene, but her teeth are just not good." Was literally uttered over me like I wasn't there while the dentist had his instruments in my mouth, poking around. My fillings were much the same where there were entire conversations had over me and about me without ever talking TO me. I have never felt more dehumanized. Edit: And to quote the response "because if we used our dental terms you wouldn't grasp it." Proved my point. Also, I had to ask to see the treatment plan. None of this was from external stressors. I was perfectly happy until the dentist talked about me and my teeth like I was a mouth with no ears or brain. You should talk to your patients. Not your hygienist about your patients.

From the initial conversations with the front office staff to the dental hygienist and the dentist I could not have asked for anything more. Friendly, thorough, everything was explained well from Diagnostics, treatment, explanations provided and follow-up care clearly explained and plan for further treatment made this one of the best dental experiences that I have ever had in the past from other Dental practices.

This is a great place, the staff is great and the Dr's are amazing. I have always hated the dentist but now that I have found Holly I don't hate it or dreed it anymore. I highly recommend them!

Edit: let's not gaslight with your response like you did some others. The accusations are NOT false, both mine and hers. To call integrity into this is a major issue. My wife also just screenshotted you admitting on her post something you said here that was "false." She was stressed because of the bedside manner. Period. You do not know the inner workings of our family or lives, therefore you cannot comment on these "outside" stressors. I am glad many others based on reviews had good experiences, but the fact of the matter is by stating what actually happened is false instead of actively trying to fix the issue or by doing what is right in the first place shows you must have had one heck of a bad day. This is a multi faceted review, and a bit long. I normally have no issue with any of the medical facilities I go to. Even if bedside manner is a bit poor, I get it....Healthcare workers are overworked, and massively stressed on a regular basis these days. However, the treatment at this particular location goes beyond that, and for myself and my family, it has been downright humiliating. For myself, my last visit was about 6 months ago and my first visit at this location. Before I was even examined, the hygienist informed me that I had peridontis (odd because I take immaculate care of my teeth). However, the entire time cleaning. Both the hygienist and dentist told me how wonderful my teeth were, no cavities, or any other major issues. However when completed, I was immediately forced to upsell to perodontis treatment, which made the visit significantly more expensive to insurance and myself. My wife recently had her second visit. She did have a few issues, however instead of speaking to HER about them, the dentist and hygienist decided to speak to the entire building over her to each other about how horrible things were. Afterwards my wife asked the dentist to talk to her about what was going on, and instead of doing so, she was told that they were just going to send off her treatment plan to her insurance. My wife asked again, and was told the same thing followed by "I don't want to tell you things you would not understand." There is plenty more, however it is best to leave it there. In no way, in any medical facility have either my wife or I been treated so poorly before. Before this facility continues, they may want to look into what does and does not constitute insurance fraud, because I hope that there is none here. That all said, I am not angry. I am sad. People can treat other people better than this.

The Dr Was Great However The Front Office support has poor customer service and no since of urgency. I Called the Friday before my Wednesday appointment and still had to wait 30 minutes in the waiting room so they could verify insurance. After i had my tooth extracted i went to two different pharmacies that stated the could fill the prescription due to an expired npi number something that is totally out of my control and shaunna in the front office told me when i called there was nothing for her to do. Front office staff makes a difference on how they business is viewed i was no longer take the hour drive to be treated poorly. The aftermath of having a tooth pulled is painful and no remorse was shown Shaunna had a figure it out attitude.

A few days after moving to the area and I had a porcelain crown come off. They were able to get me in within a few days. The office personnel was very friendly and helpful. I was most impressed and thankful that they were able to put my crown back on at my initial visit. They only did what was necessary and did not try to sell me on a treatment plan before doing what I needed at the time. When I get the boxes unpacked and more settled in the area I will definitely go back for a regular checkup. All the personnel there were great.
