Born and raised in Coppell, Dr. Wright graduated from Coppell High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and received her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston Dental Branch. She lives in Coppell with her husband Alex and their 3 children.
Dr. Wright has deep roots in Coppell and it has always been her mission give back to the community that she knows and loves. Dr. Wright has a true love of dentistry and is dedicated to providing you with the highest-quality dental care.

Our dental assistant and hygienist are licensed professionals with many hours of training. The entire staff has graduated from Dr. Michael Schusters Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Aside from three trips to Arizona, the staff regularly attends continuing education together. Weve taken many courses at Baylor College of Dentistrys Center for Professional Development and always attend the annual Southwest Dental Conference. Melanie has been licensed to practice dental hygiene since 1976. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge for three years and earned her B.S. degree in dental hygiene from Texas Womens University. Melanie is very familiar with the dental field: her father was a dentist and her brother is a dentist. She has worked with the team since 1992. Melanie has two children, Daniel and Kristen, and 3 precious grandchildren. Aside from family activities, Melanie enjoys her sorority, good friends, and watching Days of Our Lives during lunch.
Chanda has been in the dental field since 1998. She joined the team in 2002 after being in the Dallas area only four dayswe grabbed her up quick! Chanda moved here from Groves, Texas, and has a daughter born in 2007 and a son born in 2013. She has an excellent chair-side manner and is very caring. Our patients are very comfortable with her and confident in her abilities as an assistant.
Stephanie has been in the dental field since 2016, first as a registered dental assistant and then transitioning to the front office as an insurance coordinator. She has a bubbly personality and is a great asset to our front desk and our team. In her spare time, Stephanie loves spending time with her friends, family and dog Coco, trying new restaurants in the Dallas area, and going back home to visit family in Waco.
Ireanna joined our team in 2021 as a patient care coordinator. She came to us with experience in the customer service industry and has an eagerness to learn and a passion for serving our patients. When shes not at work, Ireanna loves to spend time with her son Josiah, cook amazing meals, and travel with her family.

I had recently chipped my crown and was in urgent need of consultation and repair. Dr. Wright's office was more than accommodating and scheduled me quickly. The front office was kind and helpful and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Dr. Wright helped ease some of my concerns and anxiety, and exuded the utmost professional. I couldn't be happier with my decision to make her my new Dentist. Highly recommend! My tooth is happy and pain-free now if you were still concerned.

As a dental provider myself, I know of the importance of ease, convenience, and good bedside manner. Dr. Wright and her team know these specifics out of the park making today's trip to their office probably the best dental experience I personally have had in an office. Dr. Wright and her staff are so friendly and helpful. Dr. Wright works with me to make sure my family and I receive the best dental care possible, whether it is general cleaning or fillings, root canals or crowns. I had such a great experience at Coppell Dental Care today! We just moved to the area and were happy to find a dental office that we like. Dr. Wright is amazing, precessional, thorough and gave me good tips on how to keep my teeth clean! Her staff is so kind and very responsive to phone calls. I highly recommend Coppell Dental Care!

We had a great time at this location. The front desk got us in for a same day appointment within half an hour. The staff is super friendly. Not enough words to describe Dr Wright . Extremely patient and skilled. Will be a go to location for all our dental work from now on .

I have been a patient of this practice for over eight years! It is filled with caring and professional staff. Dr. Mathis made a great choice in Dr. Wright as she cares about her patients just as he did. I had an emergency and they got me in the same day and Dr. Wright called to check on me the next day, it was so thoughtful. Melanie and Shonda are fantastic as well, Melanie even remembers which TV station I prefer to watch during cleanings and Shonda is so personable and welcoming. My husband and I are so grateful to be part of the Coppell Dental Care family.
