Dr. Ryan C. Thomas has more than 16 years of dentistry experience. Dr. Thomas practiced in New Hampshire before deciding to move to Texas to start his own dental practice. After numerous successful years, he decided to do it again, and moved his family to Arizona to open San Tan Family Dentistry. Dr. Thomas chose Arizona in order to enjoy the beautiful Arizona landscape and all the outdoor adventures it has to offer.
Dr. Thomas commitment to excellent dental care starts with his patients. He invests in the latest technologies available to deliver attentive, compassionate, and comprehensive care for all ages. Dr. Thomas values building a rapport with his patients that is grounded in respect and trust. He teaches them everything they need to know in order to feel empowered to make the oral health care decisions that are right for them.
Ever ready with his smile and casual manner, Dr. Thomas brings his authentically warm and fun-loving personality to his relationships with his patients, so much so that many of his patient families become his personal friends. You might even see them together enjoying some of the outdoor activities Dr. Thomas loves hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, just to name a few! He and his wife, Cindy, have three children and are active in their church and the San Tan Valley community.

So happy i found Dr Ryan Thomas, great people and Doc knows his stuff, speaking as a previous dental assistant eons ago. Doc was very down to earth yet very professional, all his staff are super friendly and helpful. Making you feel comfortable during the whole appointment and than some. Love his little comforting pup who sits on your lap during a procedure for support. Definitely recommending and a trustworthy office 1000% !

This place is always so welcoming! I walk in to hellos from all. They know why I'm there and take care of me. Ask me if I have any concerns. We meet McKenna today I believe her name was and she was so sweet and kind.

This place has been amazing and I can't say enough good things about them. From the moment you walk in you are greater with a smile and always feel welcomed until the moment you leave when you are walked back out and told thank you. We were very hesitant to find a new dentist after moving here and this place has set all my worry at ease. They take the take to talk and hear what you hen to say and they are very efficient at getting you seen as soon as possible. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Simply the best dentist I've ever been to, not to mention the top notch staff and immaculate place! Dr. Thomas is very deeply explanatory, attentive, friendly, funny and dentistry is excellent. I'm very happy with both my experiences here and highly recommend this place! Being new here to the area we feel very blessed to have found him right off the bat!!

Our entire family loves this practice. We are willing to travel 7 hours 1 way for monthly appointments. Every thing and everyone is top notch. Professional and kind , individualized and accommodating- these are traits I never had to ask for. They were freely given. The difference is passion. Everyone here has passion for their work, their craft and it shows.

When I go to my appointments atSan Tan Family Dentistry I always feel comfortable, and even when I am getting my teeth cleaned I'm not all tense because I know I'm in good hands! After I know my hygienists has done a good job because I can feel the cleanliness with my tongue, especially on my bottom front teeth. When Dr. Ryan is doing repair work, I feel relaxed and comfortable because I know he has my best interest is at heart. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

This office is amazing! Veronica the hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth, gentle as I asked for and she was very thorough. Christina was so welcoming, friendly and positive. Dr. T took his time in explanation of my x-rays and shared his professional opinion (which seemed extremely knowledgeable, I was impressed!) about my smile and existing dental work. John assisted with the appointment and made intra-oral picture taking look easy. Best dental visit I have had in a long time! They have a little office pup named Ruby, she sat in my lap and was so super sweet! Looking forward to my next visit with them!

From the call to make the appointment, to the online document registration, to the front office staff, to the dental assistant, to the doc, and of course their office dog, Ruby......A++. I do my research ahead of time but you never know what kind of experience to expect. This was our first visit for my 12 year old, and I for sure will count Dr T as our new dentist!
