Led by Rupam Khanna, DDS, and conveniently located in San Ramon, California, were a trusted provider of beautiful and healthy smiles.
Our team of dental professionals are dedicated and caring providers. Dr. Khanna is an expert in a wide range of dental services, from basic preventive care to advanced restorative techniques, orthodontics, and cosmetic procedures, like veneers, bonding, and teeth whitening. We have an on-site prosthodontist, Henry Vu, DDS, who can place dental implants from the comfort of our spa-like offices.

As the daughter of a revered oral surgeon in India, Dr. Khanna has been passionate about dentistry since she was a child. She earned her dental degree from a prestigious dental school in India, graduating magna cum laude in 1997 before continuing her education with a masters degree in orthodontics. She relocated to California, where she passed her dental licensing board and began practicing in a number of dental practices in the Bay Area.
Dr. Khanna stays up-to-date on all of the latest developments in modern dentistry with extensive and advanced continuing education and training. She believes that the best dental care comes from using the most state-of-the-art tools and techniques, and makes sure that her patients are offered the best treatments available. Shes a proud member of the Contra Costa Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Society.
Dr. Khanna lives in San Ramon with her husband, Rohit, and two beautiful children, Ayesha and Ishan. When shes not working with patients, she enjoys volunteering and donating her time to schools and the senior community of the Bay Area.
Dr. Vu has recently relocated to Modesto in 2012 from the Bay area. A Prosthodontist is a dentist who has completed special training in the treatment of problems with the temporal mandibular joint and making replacements for missing teeth and other structures of the mouth to restore the patients appearance, comfort and health. A native of the bay area, Dr.Vu graduated from San Jose State University and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he entered the 3 year advanced prosthodontics program with the University of Michigan and the Detroit Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Vu is one of the few dentists in the area with the advanced training to place and restore dental implants. He is proficient in everything from single tooth replacement to a full mouth reconstruction. Currently Dr. Vu is a part time clinical instructor at UOP Dental School where he teaches implant dentistry to the graduate students. In June 2007 he received the Faculty Award in recognition of his teaching excellence. Dr. Vu is active in many professional organizations including: The American College of Prosthodontist, American College of Osseointegration, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, and the Delta Study Club where he also serves as a restorative adviser.
I started in dentistry doing dental insurance when I was in high school. I then finished a dental assisting program and worked as a registered dental assistant for many years. I decided to pursue dental hygiene, and received my dental hygiene degree in 1989. I enjoyed working with people, helping them improve their oral hygiene Love family time. I have a son and daughter, both in college. I have been married over 26 years. We love traveling, and working out.
I have been in dentistry since 2001. My relationship with Dr. Khanna began in 2003. I started as a dental assistant then graduated hygiene school in 2009. I love connecting with patients. It is beyond rewarding being able to help patients maintain or improve their oral health. I have 3 children ages 1-7 and a husband that I love spending time with. We frequently go on bike rides, camping trips and keep plenty busy with sports!
I graduated from Diablo Valley College in 2014. I currently live in Livermore with my husband and beautiful baby girl. I love meeting new people and spending time outdoor. Im very passionate about my work and look forward to working with you in achieving your dental health goals.
I love helping patients to improve their oral care. I graduated from Chabot College in 1996 with a degree in dental hygiene. I have been in dental my whole life, my familys background is in dentistry. I love spending time with my husband, my son and my dog, Bob. When Im not working I like to go camping, hiking, reading and cooking.
Ive been a registered dental assistant for over 7 years. I started out working in the back of the office chairside and over the years have worked my way to helping in the front of the office. I love educating patients to improve their dental hygiene and overall experience in the dental office. I enjoy keeping busy in my free time by spoiling my rescue and learning how to craft projects on my Cricut.
I began my journey in the dental field 30 years ago. As a dental assistant my job is to make sure that every patient is educated about dental health and hygiene. Im a proud soccer and choir mom of three kids. In my spare time I love to organize and read books.

Best dentist experience I have had in my adult life. Amazing group of women run this office, I give this team a 10/10 for communication, efficiency, proper care and examination, and genuine concern for my care and well being.

I recently retired and had to choose a new dental plan and dentist. After choosing this practice and visiting as a new patient, worst ever experience. I came in for checkup and cleaning, to my surprise all I got was X-rays and a quick tooth buffing with a 30 second check by the dentist and a 30 dollar copay which the dental plan told me should have been free. Now I would assume the dentist would have given a more though check to check and document a baseline due to my deep pockets on the gum line but No , she was disinterested and instead told me it's 150 dollars to clean my teeth..I would not recommend this practice and don't believe other reviews I called the dental plan and they told me the plan covered the visit and 2 cleanings a year. The office would not refund the copay after I called them and explained what I was told. WORST experience in my life.

Until our insurance changed we used to go to Dr. Khanna. She was competent so I even referred my friends to her. A few of my friends told me she bills insurance without performing procedures. That is just "not" right. Keeping my teeth healthy is important but I would never go to a dishonest dentist.

Avoid this dentist! There so many better options that I wouldn't waste my time nor trust Dr. Khanna to take care of my teeth. Plus, I over heard some very racist comments by the staff in this office . So sad...

Dr. Khanna and her assistants at San Ramon Dental have always given me and my family excellent service. She began as our young child's dentist, and now my husband, our now grown daughter and I have been her patients for over 10 years. We followed her from her previous location. I can't say enough about the gentle, reliable service we have all received and in what regard we have always held Dr. Khanna and her friendly capable staff. I highly recommend her office for "children" of all ages!

This was my first visit to San Ramon Family Dental. I had an emergency with a bad toothache and the staff did everything possible to get me in as quickly as possible. The problem was resolved the same day through their expert care from hygienist to Dr. Khanna. A great overall experience from start to finish. They now have a new long-term patient! I highly recommend San Ramon Family Dental if you're in the Tri-Valley region.

I had truly had AN out of the world experience, Since I did not have Dental insurance and was dealing with very bad tooth problem, not even they went ahead resolved my problem, this office gave me a way better payment plan and it was way cheaper than the dentist I have been going to for last 15 Years, I AM A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOREVER!!! WE NEED MORE DENTISTS LIKE YOU!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Our whole family has enjoyed getting dental care from Dr.Khanna and the staff at San Ramon Family Dental. They're very gentle and Dr. Khanna is very precise and detail oriented. And she never suggests work I don't need. They do great pediatric dentistry, too. We'll be staying with this dentist.

i have been a patient for over 2 years and had various procedures done from tooth extraction and crowns to simple bi-annual cleaning and x-rays. Dr Khanna and her staff are competent professionals. the reception staff makes you feel welcome, and i never have to wait for my scheduled treatment.Dr Khanna is gentle and efficient in handling my dental needs. I am very satisfied with the care given at San Ramon Family Dental clinic.
