We believe in promoting dental cleanliness through regular dental exams and checkups. Visiting us once every six months can control common problems such as gum disease. Keeping a healthy mouth can save money and discomfort further down the line.

Our new patient dental exam takes about 45 minutes. This includes a diabetes test, oral cancer screen, gum checks, a smile analysis and a written treatment plan. This also includes any necessary x-ray pictures or photographs. Our other fees are extremely competitive.

Our longstanding relationships with dental manufacturers has enabled our office to be a beta testing site for new technologies. This means that we can offer our patients, if interested, exciting and innovative treatment approaches before many other dental practices.

We offer advanced visual diagnostics for oral cancer screenings, digital photography, and CAD programs to develop customized smile solutions. We also take digital impressions that are a much better alternative to the messy fluid molds.

Many people feel nervous at the thought of undergoing surgery. We have invested in a cutting-edge diode laser that does away with scalpels. The laser makes precise surgery faster, smoother and more efficient. We can use the laser for a vast number of procedures, including gum contoring and root canal therapy.

Dr Patel has recently joined our team, but he has been involved in dentistry for the last 13 years. Being a partner he is committed to your long term oral health and experience at the office. He is now setting his roots in the Bay Area.

Dr Patel is licensed to practice in two countries. He completed his BDS in London, at the Royal London Hospital in 2010. There he operated two offices. In 2016 he wanted to challenge himself and begin a career across the pond. He too attained his DDS at the University of the Pacific under the mentorship of Dr Hakim in 2018.

His hard work has been rewarded by induction into Tau Kappa Omega. The dental school organized its Tau Kappa Omega dental honor society in 1927 in an effort to promote honor and service to the alma mater. Doctors are admitted on the basis of ideals, scholarship and character. Dr Hakim is also a member.

He has a proven passion to deliver high quality care. He loves to use conservative dentistry to achieve healthy, functional and brilliant smiles. He has special interest in full fixed and invisible orthodontics (using a combination of clear/traditional braces and clear aligner therapy) in order to practice ethical and non-invasive dentistry. He has also developed a passion for implant dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel spends as much time with his friends and family as possible. He is fully involved with a local cricket team in Fremont. He remains an avid fan of his boyhood team, Liverpool Football Club. Aside from sports he is a big movie buff.

Dr. Hakim received his undergraduate degree from San Jose State in 1987, followed by his doctorate in dentistry in 1991 from the University of the Pacific. Dedicated to furthering his business acumen, he received an MBA from the University of the Pacific in 1999.

Shortly after graduating from dental school, a perfect opportunity arose to buy a small private practice in scenic, family-friendly San Ramon. Having since moved locations and grown this practice to a strong community, Dr. Hakim has been providing high-quality dental care to many loyal patients since 1992.

A smaller private practice is ideal for Dr. Hakim because he feels it is the best environment in which to provide one-on-one, personalized care. He believes in a holistic approach, which means he is not only committed to maintaining and improving patients oral health but is concerned about their overall health. An integral part of that philosophy involves an emphasis on prevention and early detection, so for instance, decay can be kept to a minimum and patients can retain the majority of their natural tooth structure. Whenever possible, Dr. Hakim uses minimally invasive dental (MID) procedures.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hakim spends as much time with his incredible wife and two children as possible. Hes a diehard golfer and takes up the occasional basketball or soccer games, as well. He loves traveling, fishing, and enjoying the gourmet dining throughout San Ramon.

Jennifer started working in dentistry in 2002 and has worked with many doctors in multiple offices. Working closely with experts of the field, she has acquired a vast knowledge of dentistry and so can help patients when they arrive at our front desk.

Jennifer has been with us for 5 years. She enjoys making sure our patients are comfortable being welcoming them to our office with an ever-present smile. She builds a relationship with them, helping them understand all costs, and maximize their insurance benefits.

Nicole trained at Western Career College, completing their Dental Assistant Program in 2005. In 2008, she became a fully registered dental assistant. She is also qualified in CPR. She has been a part of San Ramon for 5 years.

Nicole mostly enjoys getting to know her patients, interacting with new people and old on a regular basis. When part of more complex cases such as crowns and bridges, she takes pride in knowing that she has been a part of improving their smile.

Outside the office, Nicole spends time with her family and friends. Shes also a certified animal lover and loves her pets. She caught the travelling bug when she went on a trip to Cuba and loved it so much, she cant wait to explore more of the world.

Jennifer trained at UC Davis, receiving her major in Biological Sciences in 2000. In 2004, she furthered her training at Chabot College, gaining her dental hygiene qualification. Since then, she has been treating smiles at San Ramon, providing a thorough and friendly service to our patients.

Being a hygienist means that Jennifer has a direct impact on her patients oral health, helping them to keep up the hard work when at home. She particularly enjoys seeing the results when her patients return with beautiful, healthy teeth

Being in the dental field for more than 20 years, Rajdeep is very passionate about beautiful smiles and healthy teeth. Rajdeep graduated from a Dashmesh institute of research and dental sciences,in India in 2002 and worked as ageneral dentist in India for few years before moving to USA. Since then, she has worked in many dental offices at different positions. Her passion for healthy gums and educating people about their oral health led her to a dental hygiene school. Since graduating, Rajdeep has been working towards educating her patients about the importance of optimal gum health and link with chronic systemic disease.

Julia is the newest member of our team. She graduated in December from California State University, Chico with a degree in Health Science. Since graduating, she has moved back to her hometown in the east Bay Area. In the past, she worked as an intern at Butte-Glenn Medical Society to help promote and educate others regarding public health policies.

Julia is a hard working and compassionate individual with a desire to help others. She loves patient care and will be sure to greet you with a smile. Outside of the office, Julia enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her favorite things to do are traveling to new places and being outdoors. She also loves bringing her Australian cattle dog, Micah, along with her!

Dr. Ganesh has experience in General Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and Dental Implants. She is proud to offer top-quality dental care to residents of San Ramon, California, at San Ramon Dental Excellence.

Dr. Ganesh obtained her degree in Dentistry from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2005. She stays current in her field by participating in continuing education courses throughout the year to advance her knowledge and improve her skills.

At San Ramon Dental Excellence, Dr. Ganesh offers a wide array of cosmetic procedures, including bonding, veneers, all-ceramic (tooth-colored) crowns and bridges, and tooth-colored fillings. She is also trained in providing dental implants restorations.

Dr. Ganesh is committed to creating healthy and beautiful smiles for each of her patients in a calm and comforting atmosphere. She strives to help patients overcome their dental phobias and improve their comfort level in a dental environment. Patient education is also a priority for Dr. Ganesh, and she makes an effort to empower her patients to take an active role in their oral health and overall health.
