Orthodontic treatment provides patients of all ages with a functional and healthy bite as well as a beautiful smile. We offer a wide range of services for our patients and will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your or your childs smile.
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that children be seen by an orthodontist by the age of seven. The purpose of an early visit is to evaluate whether the child would benefit from modifications in their skeletal growth patterns, arch form development or behavior. If modifications are advised, plans can be made to begin treatment at the ideal time.
Most people think that orthodontic treatment is just for children. The truth is, while orthodontics is most common in children and teenagers, people of all ages can benefit from orthodontic care. Orthodontic treatment can provide healthier teeth and gums, improved chewing from properly aligned teeth and an increased confidence from an aesthetically pleasing smile.
Orthodontic care is often needed before crowns, bridges or implants can be placed. Dr. Gonzalez works well and communicates often with your general dentist, or other specialists.
