Dr. Joshua Rosales is a local Bay Area native who grew up in Hercules. He prides himself in providing conservative and modern dentistry that has helped many people achieve greater oral health and beautiful smiles. He received his bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. He spent his spare time in Southern California performing free dental care to the homeless population and to the children in underserved areas of Los Angeles. He has also spent time volunteering in Ensenada, Mexico and Chiang Rai, Thailand educating the underprivileged in oral health.

Dr. Rosales is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society. He enjoys attending year-round training on some of the most advanced dental techniques that modern dentistry has to offer. He strongly believes that oral health is connected to overall health and encourages his patients to be proactive in protecting themselves from the link between oral health and heart disease.

Dr. Lisa Pham has lived in many cities but calls the Bay Area her home. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society. Dr. Pham has been practicing family dentistry and she loves working with kids.

Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Pham has participated in a dental mission trip to Jamaica with the 1000 Smiles project and volunteers at CDA Cares events to provide free dental treatment. She takes great pride in patient care and continuing education. She believes everyone deserves a healthy smile and is committed to providing the best treatment for them. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, reading, traveling, cooking, getting outdoors, and is an avid fan of musicals.

Dr. Daniel Tanita received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. He also received training in Cosmetic Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco, with Dr. Harry Albers.

He is a member of several professional organizations and societies. He is an active volunteer in his West Contra Costa County community, where he supports an annual Free Dental Clinic for low-income children and serves as a volunteer director at the Brookside Community Dental Clinic.

An active member of the Richmond Rotary Club, in March 2007 Dr. Tanita hosted a group of international dental professionals through the Rotary's Productivity Enhancement Program, a program that teaches individual business owners about entrepreneurship at a grassroots level.

Ana was born and raised in San Pablo/Richmond area. She graduated from Richmond High School and attended Contra Costa College. She has been in the dental field and as a team member of the practice for over 15 years. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is helping others and making them feel comfortable. She is happily married and has two wonderful kids. She loves spending time with her family, exercising, going on hikes and traveling.

Michelle was born in Oakland and has lived in Richmond her whole life. She attended De Anza Senior High School and is currently studying at Contra Costa College and will be majoring in Business to transfer to SF State. She has been working in the dental field for four years now. When not working she enjoys traveling. She has a bucket list of visiting all the Disney parks in the world and she's down to her last two parks.

Rachel was born in Berkeley and grew up in the East Bay and Solano County. She is a Portuguese-American and has a very large family who helps her stay involved in her culture. Rachel graduated from the dental hygiene program in Diablo Valley College in 2017. She recently got married in November 2018 and welcomed her first child, a baby girl, in August 2019. In her spare time, Rachel loves to travel, and likes to spend time with her family, friends, and her dog, a Doberman named Whiskey.

Teresa has been in dentistry for more than 18 years. She attended Contra Costa College Dental Assisting program where she obtained her Registered Dental Assistant license. She always assures patients are fully informed and feel comfortable with all of their dental needs. Teresa will encourage you to ask questions and make sure that all of your concerns are addressed before treatment. As a RDA she will be there to make your dental experience pleasant. When shes not at work, she loves being with her family and cooking.

Sonia was born in El Salvador and came to the United States when she was 12 years old. She attended JeffersonHigh School in Daly City and graduated from Bryman College in San Francisco to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Sonia has been in the dental field for 19 years and really enjoys helping and getting to know her patients. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son Jonathan.

Veronica was born and raised in the Bay Area. She graduated from Richmond HighSchool and attended Contra Costa Community College. She has been involved in the dental field since 2008 and really enjoys helping and interacting with patients. She values quality time with her fianc and her three daughters.

The use of sedation and anesthesia in dentistry has a commendable record of safety, due to the advanced training required to achieve certification. Dr. JoshuaRosalesis licensed by the California State Board in oral and nitrousoxidesedation, used mostly for our more apprehensive patients, or for those looking to ease themselves through longer dental procedures. Special permitting and updating of that permitting is required to administer sedation and anesthesia to our dental patients in an ongoing safe environment. The ability to handle emergency situations, as well as having specific emergency medications and equipment, is a mandatory part of the permitting process. All of our staff have undergone extensive training in all aspects of sedation dentistry.

Nitrous Oxide Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, is used as a mild sedative. It is delivered through a nose hood, and is administered throughout the entire procedure. Nitrous oxide elevates the general mood and can evoke a general sense of well-being. Most importantly, it relieves anxiety and reduces pain during the procedure. In addition, some tingling and numbness may be felt. There are few side effects associated with nitrous oxide, and it has been safely used in dentistry for many years.
