Dr. Paul Dierckshas been practicing dentistry in San Mateo since 1998. Born and raised in San Mateo he studied biochemistry at UC Davis and received his DDS at University of the PacificDental school in San Francisco.
Dr. Diercks has received additional training in endodontics (root canals) and dental implants. He provides the latest treatments in dentistry including digital x-rays, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and childrens dentistry. In his spare time San Mateo Dentist Dr. Diercks enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, mountain biking, golfing and wake boarding as well as coaching sports for his boys. He is married with two boys and live in the San Mateo area.
Growing up with a father as a dentist Dr. Diercks has been in the dental field all his life.His father San Mateo Dentist Dr. Fred Diercks is also a graduate of University of the PacificDental School and attended Stanford for his undergrad. Dr. Fred Diercks has been practicing in San Mateo since 1966. He enjoys spending time in Hawaii and playing golf. With six grandchildren he enjoys spending time with them watching them grow up. He has been a longtime member of the ADA and San Mateo dental Society.

I have been going to Dr. Diercks for many years. He is so nice and friendly and really puts me at ease. He truly understands my anxiety about undergoing procedures and dies what he can to ease my nerves. I would highly recommend him! Going to the dentist is never fun but having a dentist who is personable, professional and cares about his patients definitely makes the appointments better.

Dr. Paul Diercks is a very friendly dentist. Done his job in a very professional way. Explains dental work to be done very detailed and clearly. Not hesitated to refer you to specialist(s) if needed. His office is very clean and make you at ease. Front desk staff is friendly and polite. Glad to have dental care under Dr. Diercks.

Was in and out in exactly one hour - xrays, cleaning and re-set crown included. Computer controlled xray images really speeds things up.

Personal, professional care! I recommended to Dr Paul Diercks by my Mom who called in as a new patient with an abcess on her tooth over the weekend, Dr Paul called her right back and followed up with her the next day. I have been a patient ever since - 6 years!

My family and I have been going to Dr.Dierks for over almost 20 years. Dr. Dierks is a wonderful doctor and has a friendly warm personality. His office staff is also very helpful especially when it comes to dealing with my insurance. I have never had one bad experience in 20 years!
