As a young child, Dr. Jessica Choi was inspired by her own pediatric dentist to create an informative dental community that embraces connection, laughter, and encouragement. Dr. Choi earned her DMD from Case Western Reserve University and continued her education at Loma Linda University. After completing her residency in 2012 and pursuing 2 additional years of specialized pediatric training at Loma Linda, she received a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Today, she is recognized as an official Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Chois favorite part about being a pediatric dentist is developing long-term relationships with families. As a mother of three young children, she understands the influential impact of the parent, child and dentist triad. She truly enjoys working with children and connecting with parents, so they can better understand their little ones dental needs. As a resident of the local area, Dr. Choi loves giving back and serving the community where she lives.
Beyond the walls of her dental home, you can catch Dr. Choi being a mom of three and exploring new recipes with her little sous chefs (their favorite treats to bake together are blueberry oat bars and brown butter marshmallow crispy treats!). Dr. Choi is more than excited to help guide little patients on their path to top-notch oral health, and she cant wait to meet you!

We came to San Marino Pediatric Dentistry when my baby was 1 month old for a frenectomy due to tongue and lip tie. As an anxious first time parent, I am glad Dr Choi is very patient and I can tell that she truly cares for my baby. I like that there were follow up appointments after the frenectomy to make sure it doesn't reattach. Fast forward to 1 year later, its my baby's first check up. Everyone is so friendly and the appointment went well! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist for their baby.

Dr Jessica is so amazing! My kids loved her! The office is so beautiful. There was tv for the kids to watch and they even let them pick what they wanted. The assistants were great with the kids! They were so kind and made sure my boys were taken care of! Thank you so much!

When your kids come out of the dentist saying "mommy I like this place!" They're definitely doing something right! My girls are used to dental and doctor's offices however they're never have come out of an office saying they liked the place. The staff and Dr Song was amazing! Everyone is so nice that you feel welcomed the minute you step in. The place is really clean and modern and everything was very detailed orientated that was catered to each little patient. So thankful to have found this little gem!

I really love this dental office. Dr. Choi and her staffs are super nice and very knowledgeable. The place is very very clean, they have taken precaution in keeping their office safe during Covid pandemic. Strong recommended!!!!

Very nice and professional people are working here. If your baby has any latching problems please don't wait too long to take her to a dentist to evaluate her mouth for tongue and lip tie. My 2 and a half months baby has both (tongue and lip tie) and non of her pediatricians(we have seen several when we were with Kaiser) said anything about it, I had to do my research and find specialists. Fortunately we found San Marino Pediatric Dentistry. They scheduled us as soon as possible and the doctors are very helpful and explain everything in details and we could feel how caring they are and how they want to help us.

It was my sons first visit last week. From start to finish the staff was friendly and welcoming. To top it off the process was so quick and easy that we really had no wait. The office is so clean and child friendly. Dr. Choi was awesome and very informative. My son loved it so much he asked to go back the following day. So glad I found this Pediatric Dentistry! Can't wait for his next visit :)

Brought my daughter for her 1 year check up and I don't think I could've taken her to a better dentist. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such a pleasant welcome. The office lovely! Desiree did an amazing job chair side with my daughter. She explained everything she was going to be doing-although my daughter didn't understand everything that was going on, it made me feel aware of what to expect. Dr. Choi was amazing! Very kind, gentle & informative! Will definitely recommend friends/family to San Marino Pediatric Dentistry!

I was referred to Dr. Jessica Choi from Dr. Christine Nguyen because my daughter was having difficulty breastfeeding. Dr. Nguyen helped provide OT and doing oral exercises in the beginning, however my daughter had a tight lip tie and we hoped that the oral exercises would help loosen her tie. We then had a consultation with Dr. Choi for a frenectomy and Dr. Nguyen was present during the consultation to guide and provide support. We proceeded with the frenectomy, Dr. Choi and Dr. Nguyen were both there to provide support post frenectomy (showed me how to do her stretches and how often). I could not have done this without them. I highly recommend Dr. Choi and Dr. Nguyen for your little one because they made me feel comfortable and at ease. Answered all my questions and was always there when I needed them! Thank you!

My daughter is Very scared of the dentist but not anymore! She felt so comfortable with Dr. Choi all of her staff are so sweet and so amazing with children. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone especially those with children who have had a bad experience at a dentist office. Will be bringing my children here from now on.
