Dr. Jonathan Song earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry and was selected for a one-year rigorous General Practice Residency at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center (RLANRC) in Downey, CA. While there, he was able to help many patients with special needs and was voted best resident of the year.
Dr. Song is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to best serve the dental care needs of his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Korean American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association of Dental Research, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, the Contemporary Dental Institute, and the Pacific Implant Academy.
He believes the most important aspect of dentistry is the positive relationship between a care provider team and their patients. He donates his time once a week to local hospitals to provide quality dental care to the community and aspires to be the most caring dentist in Southern California. He is eager to spread his belief one smile at a time.
Alice was born and grew up in Vietnam. She came to the U.S in 2007. She always had passion in healthcare. She worked as a dental assistant after college for 2 years from 2016 and fell in love with the dentistry.
Alice graduated from dental hygiene school in 2020. She enjoys providing patient care and education to her patients to maintain healthy oral hygiene. Alice is a foodie and she loves trying out cuisines from different countries. She also loves watching movies during her free time.
Kathy found her way to San Marino Dentistry in 2020. Her passion for dentistry started over ten years ago. She attended dental assisting school, but took a break to travel and became a flight attendant. Her experience strengthened her people skills but reminded her that her heart is in developing long term relationships. Her favorite thing at San Marino Dentistry has been seeing returning patients and watching their smiles grow. In her free time she loves to bake and spend time with her family.
Donalyn has been a dental assistant since 2012. She joined San Marino Dentistry in 2020. Donalyn was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and at the age of 11 she moved to Ontario, Canada. She enjoys patient care and patient education. Her passion for dentistry has aspired her to become a dental hygienist. In her spare time, she enjoys binge watching Netflix with her daughter, sleeping, trying different coffee/boba places and spending time with her family.
Jazmin has been a dental assistant since 2012, when she graduated from United Education Institute. She joined San Marino Dentistry in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and trying different foods.

Very professional, very friendly and the service is impeccable. Alice takes her time when cleaning your teeth and they feel clean and shined when you leave. Dr. Song is by far the best dentist you'll ever go to. My whole family comes here.

Dr. Song and the staff at San Marino Dentistry are so kind and accommodating. I had a dental emergency and they were able to schedule me in the same day. Normally I dislike going to the dentist, but the staff here really try to make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. Clean office, amazing staff. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

From the first day I visited this super Hi-Tech stress free dental office, I was impressed by how genuinely friendly everyone was. Dr. Song is a great listener. He addressed my concerns with honesty and compassion. Because of his innovative approach to dentistry; his keen eyes for detail and his relaxed nature I do recommend Dr. Song and his team of professionals for all your dental needs.

Best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. The entire process was seamless, and they are SO thorough and thoughtful -- going above and beyond to be thoughtful about scheduling and appointments. (My husband had an appt. a few days before mine and when a time slot right after him opened up, they called to ask if I wanted to take that spot so we could drive over together instead of coming separate days. Most dentist offices wouldn't even bother to check and offer that up!) All the paperwork is handled quickly online so you don't have to do any repeat paperwork once you get to the office. No wait time once I got into the office itself. I barely sat down and I was already being called to come into the patient room. Very very friendly, capable, detail-oriented front desk (I wish I remembered her name!). Alice, the dental hygienist, was thorough and explained everything really well. Dr. Song himself was also really thorough and helpful. I'm a lifer here. So glad I found San Marino Dentistry.

They are so sweet and gentle. I feel like I am well taken care of. Staff is incredibly sweet and friendly which doesn't make being at the dentist feel like being at the dentist. They ensure your comfort as priority. They are attentive and quick. The environment is super sanitary and neat.
