I grew up here in San Marcos and moved home after finishing my residency. This community has always been a big part of my life; it has given me to the opportunity to become who I am. I want to make sure that all the children and citizens of San Marcos have that same opportunity.
I became a dentist because I wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. Giving someone a healthy mouth and body, and a reason to smile with confidence, is extremely rewarding. As a dentist, Im able to truly help people. Getting someone out of dental pain, restoring function, and creating an even more beautiful smile, are all part of a days work for me.
General dentistry offers me diverse challenges and opportunities. I meet so many incredible people in our practice and am able to build lasting relationships with each of them. I especially enjoy caring for multiple generations of a whole family, from the children through the grandparents. We have wonderful conversations, laughing and learning together. I cannot imagine a more fulfilling profession.
I participate in many hours of continuing dental education every year. This ensures Im able to provide my patients with the latest advancements in dentistry. It also allows me to offer comprehensive care to my patients, so they dont have to be referred out to specialists. Ive studied laser and implant dentistry, as well as Invisalign orthodontic treatment.
I met my husband, Dr. Constantine Reppas, in dental school. We were married after finishing our residencies. Were now partners in San Marcos Family Dental and I love working with him. Im thankful to have returned to San Marcos and look forward to raising our children here.
Professionally and personally, I find the greatest satisfaction in helping people change their lives. Being a dentist allows me to support people: by improving the function of their mouth, removing pain, and creating a healthy, beautiful smile, I am making a positive difference for each patient.
I love that my work introduces me to people from all walks of life. Whether Im caring for a child at their first visit to the dentist, or giving an adult the smile theyve always longed for, Im forming a relationship. We have wonderful conversations during visits, and I find I learn a lot from each patient.

I grew up in Hilliard and Cleveland, OH, and now live in San Marcos with the love of my life, Dr. Joanna El-Maasri. She and I met in dental school and were married once we finished our AEGD residencies. I am thrilled to be partners with her in life and in our dental practice.

I joined the San Marcos Dental team in February of 2021 as the Office Manager. I have over 15 years of experience in the dental field. I started as a front office receptionist, and developed more skills as a Treatment Coordinator, and my passion for helping patients led me to become a Manger for the last 10 years. I have worked for both corporate and private offices, which helped me learn and expand my knowledge of all aspects of dentistry.
I love working for private the most due to the fact that I can focus more on the patients and provide excellent service. I achieve this by building relationships with our patients and making sure they have a wonderful experience. After all they are like family.
On my personal time I love going on adventures with my husband of almost 30 years. Weve been together since High School. I have two children and a recent grandchild, with whom I enjoy spending as much time with as possible. I enjoy traveling, going to football games and occasionally going off the beaten path in our Jeep to explore the wild.
For as long as I can remember I have lived and breathed dentistry. I was born on a tiny island in the Philippines and I was raised in San Diego. I started my career in dentistry as an assistant for 8 years and further pursued my education and graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I have now been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 7 years.
Being in the dental field has given me opportunities that I would not have otherwise discovered. I truly enjoy my career and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve all those I encounter. Joining San Marcos Family Dental is an exciting opportunity and I look forward to making a positive impact in the San Marcos community. I am a very passionate individual and I do my best in everything that I do and hope to someday become a dental hygiene instructor to help train and guide the next generation of hygienists.
In my spare time I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by playing basketball and tennis. I am a big nerd at heart, so finding an excuse to be goofy and play games with my friends and family is something I look forward to. I am also a passionate traveler; constantly seeking fun and new adventures across the world.
From day one I knew I wanted to be in the medical or dental field. I was fortunate to start in the profession of dentistry in 1994 and grow as a Dental Assistant through many hours of continuing education. Through my dedication and hard work, I have earned the prestigious title of Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) from UCLA.
I joined San Marcos Family Dental in March of 2016 and love working with Dr. El-Maasri and Dr. Reppas. At San Marcos Family Dental, I contribute to the success & growth of the office by utilizing my skills, abilities & willingness to learn and help my team members as well as help our patients achieve the smile, confidence, and health that they deserve.
I met my husband in high school and we have been together for 27 years. We have 5 children; 3 girls, 2 boys and 2 grandchildren. When Im not at work I focus my attention to my youngest child. In our spare time we enjoy going to the park, watching movies, and having many fun-filled family gatherings.

I recieved great service and everything looked clean and professional. I came in for an issue with pain in a one year old filling that was caused by my previous dentist. It was nice how Dr. Constantine laid out how he could fix it, why it happened in the first place, and how it isnt something that should have happened at all. I plan to make this my go to Dentistry office and will try to have my roommate switch to here too.

The staff are all very friendly and accommodating with my dad who has special needs. Everything was handicap accessible. The office and technologies used were very modern and up to date as well.

I went to San Marcos Family Dental for a cleaning and as always Miguel was great. I needed a couple of filings and I was hesitant because I hate needles. Did I mention how much I truly despise them. I explained my feelings to Dr. Joanna El-Maasri and she made me feel at ease. She added some numbing gel to my gums and walked me through the process, before I knew it she had injected me and I was already numb. It did not hurt at all. I really appreciate her patience and empathy. She's Awesome! I'm a person that really hates going to the Dentist, however, I would definitely recommend this office.

The office accommodated me with an appointment soon after I called on 5/20/22 (which I greatly appreciated) about a very painful toothache. However, Dr. Reppas determined I had an abscess in an old root canal and referred me to a endodontist. That endodontist was booked for two weeks was not able to see me soon. I called San Marcos Family Dental back, explained the situation and explained that due to the pain I was experiencing, I needed to see someone sooner. I asked the office manager Maria if they could find another endodontist for me. Maria said, "No. We don't do that." She told me I needed to call my insurance and find another one. I have been going to this dental office for over 5 years and continued to do so for 3 years even after I moved to Menifee in Riverside County primarily because the dental hygienist, Miguel, was so great. In 5 years I essentially just went in for cleanings every 6 months and all was good. I think I had one cavity during that time. But as soon as I had a serious issue, Maria told me I was on my own finding another endodontist. So disappointing. Guess what? I called a dental office here in Menifee as soon as I got home. That office manager was very helpful and helped me find another endodontist. I called that endodontist and I have an appointment set for tomorrow. Maria needs to learn how to help their patients when they need it or they will lose more patients to other dental offices. Miguel is the best thing about San Marcos Family Dental but I will never go back there. I hope Dr. Reppas sees this review but sadly, I doubt he will.

I had such a wonderful experience! Sue, Miguel, and Dr. El Maasri made me feel so comfortable and welcome. The front desk staff made checking in a seamless process and I hardly had to wait before being called back for my appointment. I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time, but I don't feel nervous about coming back here at all.

I love my Dentist! Always a smile and warm welcome. Dental cleaning is always done well and my teeth sparkle. My son, who is 12 has been going to then since he was 3 and always felt safe and happy. He has no problem getting his teeth cleaned now and never has been worried about pain,everyone is always so happy he feels happy too.

My husband and I are new to the area we're establishing dental care in San Marcos. We have both been extremely pleased with the dental care that we have received. Dr. Reppas is outstanding! We were pleased with the time he spent with us on our initial appointment. The office staff is so friendly as well!

I've been going to San Marcos Family Dental for 3 years now and over the course, I have had an incredible experience. I drive from Oceanside to San Marcos just to them as my primary dental office. They have phenomenal customer service from the front desk, dental hygienist, and of course, Dr. Reppas and Dr. El-Maasri. During the time of COVID, they were extremely precautious, and professional. I appreciated their thoroughness with safety. I love all the appointment reminders as I often forget to place them in my own calendar. My dental hygiene has significantly improved since I started going to San Marcos Family Dental. San Marcos Family Dental is going to be my long term primary dental office for as long as I live in the area.

We established care with San Marcos Family Dentistry earlier this year and have been so impressed! The scheduling process is quick and easy. Prior to the appointment they go above and beyond in communication, so the arrival/check-in process is seamless. Our three children ages 2 - 6 all had a great experience, and consistently ask when they'll be able to go back. Previously, I have had issues with temperature sensitivity but they use a new tool that you can barely feel! We've seen both Dr. Reppas and Dr. El-Maasri, and look forward to continued dental care with them! If your looking for a dentist for you and/or your family I'd definitely recommend San Marcos Family Dental.

Amazing experience here! First I want to complement the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. Second, I liked the feel of the office. It wasn't that lifeless sterile environment I've experienced with other offices. While clearly clean and safe, it has a "homely" feel when you're in the chair. I went in for a deep cleaning which was performed by Miguel and he eased my nerves, was very informative and did a fantastic job on removing years of staining that I was self conscious about. I'm really happy with the results and can't recommend this office highly enough.

I was referred to San Marcos Family Dental for Invisalign treatment. Dr. Reppas took great care of me. I started treatment at the beginning of the pandemic and throughout the entire process, the office went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. The entire staff is professional and polite. Oh and my smile turned out absolutely PERFECT. Thank you SMFD
