I'm very unhappy with San Juan Smiles. I went in for a 5 minute check on a tooth that was stained and they charged me $97. They didn't even tell me they were charging, they just sent a bill in the mail. They also didn't tell me that our insurance has switched from in-network to out-of-network and now I received another bill that I didn't know I was getting. I will be switching dentists.

I received an excellent cleaning service and afterwards stopped in to ask questions about a recommended dental procedure and additional services. The office person told me she would speak with Dr. Lacey and call me back. I didn't receive a response to what I thought were fairly simple questions for over 30 days and I had to call back to get a response. Even then, the front office response was incomplete. I was very disappointed in the lack of response from the front office.

The office has no one working the front desk and we have had billing issues with my husband for the past year. The office manager keeps trying to charge us for my husbands appointment when it should all be going to our dental insurance. The first time was with COVID and a missing check. The second time they are saying it is becuase my husband rescheduled his appointment and they scheduled him before his 6 months. I asked "why didn't you help him with scheduling and looking at his dates?" Response was "they can't do that for every call"....uhm I am pretty sure that is a major part of your job description and helping a customer. Also, the office manager tried very hard to have me complete dental work on a tooth we were just "keeping an eye on" that was over two years ago and nothing has come about my tooth that we are "keeping an eye on." I do like the hygenists and the modern equipment, but their customer service is lacking.

My dental hygienist was incredibly thorough yet gentle. The office has state of the art equipment for x-rays. I would talk about the lobby but I didn't even get a chance to sit down as my hygienist was waiting for me when I showed up for my appointment and took me straight back. I would highly recommend San Juan Smiles as a dentist office.

Always greeted with a smile by office personnel, hygienists, and doctor. Quick to return phone calls and provide information. Competent dental cleaning and x rays. I recommend this dental business.

I had a molar extracted that had been infected. It had been years since I had a tooth pulled. Dr. Lacey and his assistant did an amazing job. It took an hour. I had no pain during or after, even days after. They are an great team. In fact his entire office staff is amazing. I have already referred them to a friend of mine. Thank you so much Connie Yoder

Great dental practice! everything RDH, Dentist, speed, efficiency, adhering to best industry practices etc. They also did not up sell "extra treatments" . Really enjoyed going to this dental practice.
