The staff is very friendly and helpful. They know me by name, and freely offer helpful hints and examples of how to treat myself (following a procedure) at home. Dr. Bhuva makes me feel comfortable and like I'm good hands. Highly recommend!

I love this place. The people are extraordinarily friendly. That's what I love the most. Beyond that, the dentists are knowledgeable and take their time to explain things and explore options. The hygienists are world-class. The hygienist named Fivel gave me the best cleaning I've ever had.

Try somewhere else. I'll start with the good: -there is a woman that works at reception who is wonderful -- it seems like she's tasked with fixing all the thing that go wrong at this place. -Dr. Bhuva had good bedside manner, though it didn't translate into good work. The bad: Price gouging: I went in for a tooth cleaning, was convinced to get 3 cavities refilled, and came out with months of chronic pain and an unexpected $700+ bill. When Dr. Bhuva recommended that I get my cavities re-filled, I immediately expressed concern about the cost (and the need). After waiting 30+ minutes for the administrative office to confirm coverage, they told me i was good to go. I paid $120 when I left. 5 months later, I got a $700 bill via email. After talking to the admin team, they said that though fillings were covered, the 'kind' of filling Dr. Bhuva gave me where not - Why, after waiting 30 mins to confirm coverage, would you perform work that isn't covered? I absolutely feel like they played a bait and switch game to be able to charge more. I didn't need the service and was especially hesitant around cost, but followed what i thought was professional advice, and was going off of their team's word that the service was covered. Dentistry: After getting 3 fillings that I didn't need to get, I have spent 5+ months in pain. I have gone back to the office twice since the original work, and they have either dismissed the pain or pointed to a pretty out there reason for it. I had NEVER had pain in my molar, in fact the filling was more surface than anything, and now I can't chew on that side. Service: There is a woman who performs the teeth cleaning that is super unpleasant. She seemed annoyed to be doing her job, annoyed when I asked questions about cost and time, and i read the notes she put on my chart, super unprofessional. There is also a male dentist that literally won't listen to anything you say. Nice guy, spends about 30 seconds not listening to you, does whatever requires the least time, and then you end up back there.

My husband and I love going to SF Dental Partners! They follow all covid protocols (and more!) and everyone there, from the office staff up to the dentists, are all top notch.

Dr. Bhuva is a perfectionist. I needed a crown replacement on my front tooth - what people first see what I smile. When the crown wasn't perfect, she sent it back to the lab to start over and gave me a second temporary crown to wear for a week while it was made. This is not typical and she let me know that. She made sure that the crown matched the rest of my teeth and was perfect, which comforted me. She cares about her work and her clients and wants you to look your best. While a hassle in the moment, I am SO glad she didn't accept the first crown. The second was AMAZING. My smile has never looked better and I'm so much more confident. Thank you so much for caring about your clients and taking such pride in your work!!

EVERY staff member I interacted with was warm, helpful, and professional. I had an urgent dental need and was able to get in and get help in a very timely manner. Dr Shephard was extraordinarily gracious and clinically outstanding. Love this place. If you need dental care, don't look any further. Choose Dr. Shephard.

I'm a long time patient of the practice but for various reasons I have not visited for quite a while. In coming back, I was sincerely greeted as if I had only been away for 6mos! All here are very professional, friendly and I feel provide excellent dental service. They are the dental office of choice for the San Francisco area.
