Very professional dental care. Friendly and accommodating with modern clean equipment. Definitely recommend this business. update This place is a mess and they billed my credit card for unauthorized expenses and then tried to bill me more after that. Someone was cooking the books and they are lucky I didn't sue them. DONT GO HERE, you will regret it!!!

They are dishonest, unprofessional and poor performance! First I went there about a year ago was for a deep cleaning. They asked for over $800 for it. I told them I'm familiar with dental prices and I never heard such things in my many years of dental work. I refused to pay that much and they recalculated down to $120 and apologized blaming it on their computer for the wrong calculation. Because I gave them the benefit of the doubt, since then I had couple more regular cleanings and one small filling with regular prices. Currently I need to have done three implant crowns and I called them ahead of time to ask for an estimate before I decide if I should go with them or not. The estimate they gave me was $2800 for the three implant crowns but changed to 2x$3800 (my part +insurance part) when I had to sign the paper work. I asked Dr. Patel why it is so much changed she said she doesn't work with the financial part at all, therefore she washed her hands but approved the estimate! So I went forward with it (my mistake) but Dr. Patel couldn't fit the parts she ordered and sent me back to my oral surgeon to fix my implant. After consultation, my oral surgeon said it was nothing wrong with my implant but maybe Dr. Patel is not used to do implant crowns. I trust him and I'm happy with his work as he's done all my implants. I know him for many years. However, today I went back to Dr. Patel to finally start the work on my three implants crowns per agreement, so I thought. But there was a different staff who asked me to sign the estimate paper work again since they had to recalculate because they left out a tooth last time. The total estimated price today was over 9K from the initial estimate of $2800. When I asked why such a change and why they calculated it double or ask me to sign for double price, the staff blamed it on the computer again, on the insurance and on the staff that left their office. Anyway, I refused to sign that price as it was very ridicol and unprofessional and I left the office very disappointed. At that point it was obvious and I finally faced it that they don't know what they are doing other then deceiving you, waste your time and ask for lots of money for poor performance!

I went here for a cleaning and once my cleaning was done the dentist told me she was giving me a fluoride treatment. It was not explained to me that this was optional and would be an additional cost that my insurance didn't cover. This place gets over on you and does not care about your dental health or your finances.

I had a cleaning here late December. Everything went well and I had no issues.

***WARNING*** This business will try to use deception to over charge you. I came in for an appointment and eventually decided to have my wisdom teeth removed because my dental insurance would cover 50%. I was quoted $1500 out of pocket and my insurance would pay the rest. After having the surgery and still under the effects of my anesthesia, the receptionist gave me the the bill at twice the amount but not being in the right state of mind I paid it. After about 30 minutes I started to realize the situation and had my husband call. They essentially passed the responsibly on a manager who was on leave saying they didn't know what happened and would see what they could do. They did nothing but offer some teeth whitening. I would have never elected to have surgery unless it was covered by my insurance and to not have been told beforehand is fraud in no other terms. They are polite people but I'd rather have someone who is honest and rude than someone who will lie to you while smiling. This business takes advantage of hard working people with courtesy and politeness. Good luck to those of you who are reading this and decide to use this office for your own dental needs, you'll need it.

So many fake reviews. Every one inside this dental is unprofessional.

Exactly. This business especially the receptionist will try to use deception to over charge. I doubt if they are really licensed or even legal to run the business at all. The receptionist is especially suspicious. She made a huge kickback by misleading patients and lying about it. Also the doctor pretend she had some level of education but when I went to other dentists they all said I don't really need deep cleaning. A normal cleaning is sufficient. I was trying to save time and they made it sounds like I have a serious dental problem and I have to pay the fee for the deep cleaning right away.

wow, I didn't believe the reviews until I went to there. Fraud dental!! Especially they like to say they told you blablabla but when you were there they put words in your mouth and ask for a completely different price. Doctor is not qualified for anything and the receptionist pretending to be a doctor. Basically, they charge you for sutff you never want to do in the first place. So the best option is: DON'T GO THERE!

The cleaning itself was fine. What soured my experience was getting charged for a treatment I didn't ask for. At the end of the cleaning, the hygienist applied fluoride to my teeth without notifying me there would be an extra charge. Honestly, if they were up front about the charge, I probably would've been fine with it. Finding out after the fact made me feel like I was being taken advantage of.

Appointment ran a half hour late, and had a poor experience with dental cleaning. Seems there are always new people. Really liked my previous hygienist.

The most magical dentist visit of my life - really! I know it's not common to say this, especially about an experience at the dentist's office, but I loved my check up with these gals. They were very fast, friendly, communicative, and they magically made it supportive and uplifting just by chatting me up during my cleaning and sharing stories and compliments. Also, when I asked about Invisalign, I was quickly given a sheet that clearly outlined the costs and options. I appreciated their swift reaction and clarity around my investment - in the past I had dentists try to upswell me by hiding actual costs, so this was a really big deal to me to have that level of clarity. So, thank you! And, I hope you get that break room fridge You deserve that at minimum. Even with some complimentary sparkling waters

I've had a pretty good experience at SF Dental Artistry. The staff is very friendly and professional, and I've had almost no problems with my cleaning and orthodontist appointments. It's been clear to me that the office has seen a lot of staff changes over the past year or so, and I was a bit shocked at the apparent high turnover of staff and service changes. I hope that things have settled down, because I place a high value on patient trust and care. Otherwise, I don't feel comfortable receiving dental care at an office where they have periodic staff changes and don't keep my dental history in mind. Dr. Moran is a really good dentist and takes great care to make sure our needs are properly met. She's very knowledgeable and forthcoming with my needs and treatments, so I'm happy to be her patient during my care.

I been going to SF Dental Artistry for my teeth cleaning the last two years but this past week's visit will be my last. I was disappointed with the dental hygienist they paired me with and he did a terrible job. What pushed me over the edge was when applied fluoride on my teeth without really asking for my consent and later being charged for. I am 7 months pregnant and I don't even use fluoride in my toothpaste, what makes him think that it's okay to apply it on my teeth without asking. I can't support a business that doesn't respect me as a customer.

The new dental hygienist seems really inept - I can't remember a more uncomfortable cleaning, and I've had my teeth cleaned twice yearly since I was a kid. I'd laugh but my inside molar gum is still oozing blood from where he left the tooth polisher - he actually managed to polish away my gum (!) - despite my stopping him to say it hurt, he kept at it! About halfway through I considered just leaving (would have been a first for me), and I wish I had. I'm obviously not going back. This is an extra shame because their previous hygienist (Robert?) was awesome.

I had clearly asked before whether everything would be covered by the insurance and they said yes. And then they applied fluoride treatment on my teeth which wasn't covered and I had to pay out of pocket. I wasn't informed about this before when I asked twice. I don't appreciate this at all. I had also seen a similar incidence mentioned in other reviews below, so looks like this is a recurring problem!!

Love this dentist office! My dental hygienist (who Ive seen for ~2 years now) always remembers whats going on with my teeth and my life. They're quick, honest, and have a great office set up. Felt very COVID safe as well.
