From our roots as the first Pediatric practice in the Platte County area back in 1989, Pediatric Care North has provided state-of-the-art medical care in a personalized environment. Our practice treats patients from newborn through high school, and on to the age of 21.
Our 10board certified physicians have all had specialty training in the field of pediatric medicine. We now have a staff of 3board-certified pediatric nurse practitioners and 3board certified lactation specialists. In fact, Pediatric Care North was the first pediatric practice in the Kansas City metropolitan area to create a lactation support program where mothers and babies get the nursing support needed.
Over the years, our practice has expanded and grown with the Northland. We have maintained an atmosphere of personalized service while delivering excellent medical services to all of our valued patient families.
Dr. Mogavero earned a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering as well as his dental degree (D.D.S.) from UCLA, graduating with honors from both programs. For his full-time orthodontic specialty training, Dr. Mogavero chose Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas, Texas, one of the countrys leading and most progressive programs. A holder of two Masters degrees, Dr. Mogavero was a leader in dental school, where he served as Class President for two years. Dr. Mogavero has co-authored a textbook chapter on orthognathic surgery and surgical orthodontics. He has served for five years as a clinical professor for post-doctorate residents in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Southern California. Dr. Mogavero is active in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (ACPA). He has been selected as an expert witness in a number of orthodontic cases. Dr. Mogavero is also active in the community, and in youth sports. As a specialist, Dr. Frank Mogavero focuses his practice exclusively on the alignment of teeth and facial bones.

Couldn't fix pain I had been experiencing through multiple visits. Was fixed elsewhere upon upon first visit with no other issues. Will not return.

I went there having not seen a dentist for a couple of years. They were were more than happy to rack up an insurance bill for radiographs and the need to get right on a deep cleaning. Over the weekend I went to ER care because my teeth were infected and had teeth pulled. This office, if I can call it that, is a scam. Buyer beware.

This dentistry place is extremely unprofessional. First off, the employees are rude and don't portray good customer service. Dina (the receptionist) was extremely rude to me when asking her for clarification on a paper I was asked to sign. It took forever for her to set up an appointment with the dentist himself. She doesn't have respect for her patients and doesn't make them feel welcome at all. Please think about getting a second opinion before choosing to come here. If I were able to put 0 stars I would. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to post without having a star.
