I got my root canal treatment done today. What an amazing experience!!! Dr. Samyn and his staff members are very knowledgeable to explain things in details. He is well trained dentist and has attended few of the best Dental schools in the USA. Everything was so organised in his clinic, technician knew where are the things and what Dr. Samyn wants during procedure. I will strongly recommend patient to visit his clinic and get a pain free root canal treatment.

I'm feel like this review will sound like all the others. I'm a bit of a nervous nelly at the dentist and Dr. Samyn was great at explaining everything in the process. I was also able to get a quick appointment which was a relief because my tooth was very painful. On the day of my appointment I picked out a movie to watch and the procedure started. I felt no pain at all. That night Dr. Saman even called that night to make sure I was doing ok.

I had a good experience. Root Canals are like the IRS, they both get a bad rap for what they do. The place is very clean, coffee is available in the waiting room via Keurig. Dr. Samyn is very friendly and personable.

From Dr. Samyn to his entire staff to the views of Lake Washington, I couldn't imagine a better setting for having a root canal done. It was over before I knew it. These guys rock!!!

I am a naturopath and researcher. As we emphasize the importance of empathy and communication, Dr. Samyn is a great master of the bedside manner. His kind and polite demeanor is appreciated. I will go back to him (as necessary) and can recommend to others. I have two suggestions for patients: 1) a notepad and pen may help your communication during the procedure and 2) it will be nice to have a volume control of the movie/documentary in the patient's hand. Voices hearing from the headphone were confusing when you were asked or instructed to do something. Relaxing music alone may be better if you can meditate over the procedure. I had the sound too loud which masked scary grinding sounds but I have rining ears now. In any case, overall I had a great experience.

I was referred to Dr. Samyn by my regular dentist when I experienced a swelling in my gum. I was a week away from leaving on a vacation to Hawaii and I did not want it to interfere with that. I had had a number of previous root canals and had actually had one on that same tooth. Since it had a post and a crown on it, it was not possible to do a regular root canal, going through the face of the tooth. Instead, they had to go in from the root. Dr. Samyn was very good about explaining the whole procedure to me, and also, working with my time frame so that I was able to come in and have my stitches removed before my vacation. The procedure itself was handled well. I was adequately numbed up, given some movie goggles and a headset to watch a movie. Also, all of the financial details were laid out and taken care of, ahead of time, so it was all in all, a pretty seamless experience. I would definitely recommend him and his staff, if you are in need of an endodontist..

Going to Northshore Endodontics is like staying at a five start hotel! The entire office itself is very clean, well designed, and furnished to create a pleasant environment. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, and she took the time to visit with me briefly before taking care of the paperwork, which made me feel calm going in for my root canal. Dr. Samyn not only took the time to answer my questions and explain the procedure to me, but also showed me the before and after xrays of my tooth and educated me about the procedure and the process he would follow to fix the tooth. The entire process was done so smoothly and professionally that I had only minor pain after the anesthetic wore off......a pleasant surprise! I watched one of the available movies during my procedure, which made the time go faster. Afterwards, Dr. Samyn escorted me to the front office and gave me a paper with information regarding my procedure and told me to call if I had further questions. I highly recommend Northshore Endodontics for your root canal!

I highly recommend Dr. Samyn if you are in need of endodontic services, i.e. a root canal! We've all heard stories about how unpleasant this procedure can be, but my experience with Dr. Samyn and his staff wasn't like that at all. This was my first root canal - Heidi took my initial call and cheerfully answered all questions, made the appointment for me, and handled all insurance paperwork; for the procedure itself Dr. Samyn and his assistant Wendy took great care to make sure I was comfortable... and Dr. Samyn made sure the offending tooth and the area around it were completely anesthetized before he started the procedure - I was essentially painfree the entire time - excellent! Dr. Samyn is a very nice guy with a great sense of humor, and is obviously very meticulous in his work - he even called me at home later that evening to make sure I was doing ok. If you have to have a root canal, this is the place!!

I had an excellent experience with Northshore Endodontics and Dr. Samyn. He is a diamond in the rough of dentistry. Patient and gentle, he answered all my questions and even took the time to look at another tooth I had a question about that was completely unrelated to why I was there. The same night, after the root canal, he called me to check and see how I was doing. I must say that is amazing! The type of care that no longer exists in the industry. I will recommend anyone in need of an Endodontist to Northshore Endodontics.

I had a root canal done today by Dr. Samyn and I could not believe how well it went. I didn't feel a thing. The Dr. and his staff were so nice and did whatever they could to make it a pleasant experience and it was. I just laid back with a pillow for comfort and got to watch one of my favorite movies. I highly recommend him. It was actually a pleasure to go. Who would have thought........

This was my first visit to Northshore Endodontics, and it was for a root canal. It was great experience! Dr. Samyn and the staff did a great job of making me comfortable throughout the procedure, including providing me with an IMAX movie to watch through special movie glasses and earphones! I experienced very little discomfort during the procedure, and none whatsoever afterward. They are friendly and very competent at Northshore, and I highly recommend them.

Top-notch work while watching a movie - it doesn't get any better than this. I'd highly recommend Dr. Samyn to anyone considering endodontic work. The consultation was thorough, the procedure smooth, my recovery time was rapid, and a month or so afterward my tooth feels great, with no issues.

No one can enjoy having a root canal, but Dr. Samyn makes it as enjoyable as possible. I didn't feel a thing (and got to watch Seinfeld the whole time) and I recovered quick!

If one can say "I loved my root canal", then this is the occasion. I had never had a root canal, but Dr. Samyn and his staff put me at ease and took the time to answer my questions fully. I appreciated the movie as well - beware the root canal scene in "Finding Nemo" and especially appreciated that the procedure resolved the issue with that tooth.

My experience was wonderful. The staff is well informed and friendly. Dr. Samyn was very kind and understanding. Not that I want another root canal but if I have to I will definitely go see Dr. Samyn.

While it is never fun to have dental work done, if you have to have it, there is no better place and no better doctor to do it. I cannot rave enough about Dr. Samyn or his staff. I recommend unreservedly.
